I understand the concept of developing strains...and I can see how fucking around can easily lead to being over on plant counts...but it's what you do with those that I think is what is part of the issue here...I actually don't even think people trying to grow new, more effective strains for what ails them were the problem...when I was looking for a dg, I was told the bigger the script that I had the easier it would be...that's a pretty telling statement...HC made it so hard for me to find someone to grow for me, that when I did and realized how slimey it was going to be I said no thanks...I was 10 months waiting for hc and we all know what that meant...then they lost pics...and on and on...for as difficult as it was to get authorization to use, people maybe should have not abused that but then again that would go against human nature...or would it?

Sadly it is human nature to exploit everything for our benefit , i feel ya on the slimey end of the business , i spent allmost 3 yrs owning & operating a non profit co-op , the only liscensed med mj business in Michigan , i set the business up where all 3 owners could become millionaires within 10 yrs & at the same time provide quality jobs where our employees could make a carrer & support their family without working 1,000 hrs a month , i showed my partners how we could legally take $100k salaries for ourselves , pay employees $16 to $20 an hour & at the same time give away 1/5 th of our gross weight to patients with the top 6 diseases .
I showed them how we could provide healthy & nutritious meals delievered to shut in's in need of medibles at no cost to the patient , i showed them how we could afford to give discounted meds to low income patients after our doctor approved their illness as not being a back ache , or a questionable reason to have a med card & still be able to pay ourselves & employees bonuses legally & still remain non profit .
I was so proud of what we accomplished , proud as hell to have 7 employees who we paid enough to become middle class , proud of the people we helped with free meds & most of all proud of the shut in's who ate my wifes home cooked meals made with canna butter , canna oil & laced heavily with hash , the wife & i delievered many of the meals ourselves when our driver was too busy filling orders , proud of going from being a 2 time looser felon with a prison record from violence where i hurt people to a man who gave back to people who NEED MEDICAL mj , proud to be thought of as a good person from helping so many people , even the city council approved & applauded our helping the community & i loved that feeling .
Even though my 2 partners never put up one dollar to buy the grow building & its grow gear , not one red cent in buying & remodeling the store front building , neither partner helping ME operate a legal 400 plant grow using eight 4 x 8 flood tables & trimming 25 lbs a month they got greedy & wanted more profit faster , they saw free meds as lost revenue , they saw discounted meds as bad business , they saw our hot meal.program as laughable waste , they started stealing lbs of my top flight buds & selling the lbs off the books , they mixed in schwag they grew poorly with my primo bud to make up for the missing buds .
Each partner was making less than $50k a yr before going in business with me & making $100k to $150k a yr wasn't enough for them , they had dozens of scams going & started cooking the books , they had so many scams going i couldn't keep track of the money & was in danger of getting charged with a felony for using non profit status as a front .
I ended up selling most of my 51% controlling interest back to the business along with the grow bldg, all the gear & 8 fully stocked tables , they paid my asking price for the business with all cash ! , took out loans to buy the buildings from me , dropped non profit & relaunched as an unliscensed dispensary , raised prices , stopped all free or discounted meds , cut employee wages & fired my store manager , replacing her with their family member , they sell moldy bud , uncured bud , moist bud & put shake in peoples high priced buds .
I coulda made them millionaires legally while still helping people & their greed blinded them , they threw away a 40 yr friendship with me & shit on everybody they could all so they could become filthy rich overnight , they are as slimey as the business gets so i understand why so many people blame fuckheads like the growers outlined in this thread , the shit those guys pulled with running thousands of plants dont help our situation & gives government patsies to blame law amendments on , greedy dicks just like my ex partners , i feel victimized from showing them how to grow mass volumes & for teaching them the business .
