14 of the 15 hottest years in the last 135 years were in this century and 2014 was more unlikely than likely the hottest year of that same timeframe
Fixed it for you with fact. Or did you miss that in the reports? Might want to stray from the HuffPo once in awhile if you want some unbiased reporting.

When asked whether 2014 was the warmest year so far on record, scientists within the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said it’s “more unlikely than likely.” In its annual “state of the climate” analysis, climate experts could say with only 48 percent certainty that 2014 was the warmest year on record.
Whoopsie.

Provide a citation for your claim that scientists have no data regarding climate throughout geological history. The onus of proof is on you for making the claim, since it contradicts a vast body of research. That would be massive denial on your part, by the way.

Care to show the post where I made the claim? I don't usually provide citations for my opponent's straw man.

we're only pretty sure that it was the hottest year on record. it could have been the second hottest.

thus hiatus.

You need to also provide a link or your citation is worthless. I need to find where on the NOAA site this tiny snippet is located so that I can see it in context, otherwise it can't support your argument.

Oh, so you admit that it is not only the last 135 years that scientists observe to calculate their conclusions.
All I ever did was post NASA's claim and put it into perspective against the earth's age. You drew conclusions from there and I told you as much along the way.

Most of us don't want to put our heads up our asses in order to gain your perspective.
Reality that hard for you to wrap your head around?

It gets even better.

Something you can't find on liberal media:
Scientists with NOAA said 2014 only had a 48 percent probability of actually being the warmest year on record, while NASA only gave last year a 38 percent chance of being the warmest.

Now why would it be splashed across the MSM and trumpeted by Democrat politicians and their lemmings all over the internets, when it's only a 38% chance of being the hottest? Hmmm.

You guys make this too easy. You just set yourself back another decade in the fight with this transparent propaganda blowing up in your face.

You see, the small lies and exaggerations fuel disbelief in your agenda's bigger claims. Especially if you don't own them when they're fucking plain as day.

I would sure love it if I could find that anywhere. It seems like you made it up. Maybe a link would help.
Maybe you should have actually read the NASA report before jumping on the bandwagon? You need me to provide a link to NASA's report? I already did that.

Apparently, you didn't read it.

Don't be too mad, this entire thread was a trap. I'm just much better at it than you guys.

The NASA report said nothing about excluding data prior to 135 years ago.

Unless this thread gets deleted out of embarrassment, all the libs parroting "hottest year on record" are laughing stocks. You guys are so desperate, you couldn't even read the fackin' report before you started bleating the claim.

why are you citing NASA when you say they are part of the AGW hoax?

yeah, being off by a fraction of a degree has really caused us some embarrassment.

imahine how bad it would be if we were off by a full 18 points on simple polling data.
