The Intellectual Dishonesty of Online Atheism

I used to be an Atheist (when I was 15) before I started studying history and learned that it is not religion that is messed up, it is mostly Abrahamic religion that is messed up. I also realized that Atheism is not a real position, it is the LACK of a position. When I was atheist, it was because I left Christianity, not because I had learned anything outside of Christianity. I know Atheists do like to pretend Science is somehow related to Atheism, but that is something any religious person could study, Even Christians study science, so that is not irregular for Atheists to do.

So, since I can see this from a kind of Unique perspective (I am not Christian or Atheist or Muslim) I thought I would point out the ways Atheists chase their own tails.

1. Atheists look for crazy people to talk to. For example, when looking for people to talk about the Flood, they look for people who believe in Noah. No Atheist wants to talk about the Non-Global floods that would have happened all over the world at the end of the Ice Age. I have seen Graham Hancock talk on Youtube, and he is really the only person even willing to get in to this.

2. Atheists look for people who believe the world is 6,000 years old. If they hear you believe in Evolution, they say "At least you believe in that" as if everything else you believe is what their idea of "Religion" is.

3. Atheists think that if they make a Youtube video about something, it becomes true, And if they only argue the stupid people as listed above, then they feel like they are somehow making the point stronger.

4. Atheists really don't know that much about religion. I used to think "More Atheists read the Bible than Christians" then I started talking to Atheists about how they should use the Bible to debate Christians, and most of them can tell you the Matt Dillahunty videos they like most but they definitely have not read the Bible for the most part. There are a few, but most of them haven't even read Atheist books. It is literally a bunch of people converting from Youtube videos.

If this seems angry (people act like I am mad all the time) it is not anger, I really just want to see people debate instead of argue. Everyone should look up "Debate" and then see how it works. You are not supposed to just talk down to someone, or tell someone they don't make sense, or that it is impossible for their God to exist. There are supposed to be Demonstrations on both sides, and Screen Sharing evidence and all kinds of stuff, Talking and Arguing are not "The Great Debate" they are Atheists sitting on a high horse, waiting to fall off.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Very very very subjective view. If you want people to discuss and debate instead of argue, you are coming off all sideways, you dont have a chance
The reason I don't have a chance is not my approach, it is the fact that this does not exist in the Atheist environment.

Youre in the wrong envorinment. And your approach sucks, sry.
Lol. I am glad that some random troll on a Marijuana forum who probably only posted out of butt hurtness, knows so much about everything.

Do you want to argue a point or just be a dick while pretending I'm the dick? :dunce:

My reply to a person on another thread who just asked me to try to convert them

Ok, well do you believe Scientists were able to get a Space Craft to land on a Comet? And do you believe that they used Mars' gravitational field to do so?

Mars is a heavenly body, and even the Ancient Jewish people called Mars "The Blushing one" while other Cultures worshiped Mars (and other planets) directly. So if you believe in Mars, you believe in a God. Also, if you believe in Earth you believe in a God.

This worship is still seen in Hinduism and some other traditions.

And I do not hope to convert you, that is part of your entire misunderstanding of Religion. Not all religions care to convince new people to join.

thats all hearsay buddy. Call it what you want. In science, they are called planets. So which is it...do you believe in religion or what?

A Good example I have of Religion not being what people think it is, is this:

Most people think that religious people support "Faith Healing" or "Praying for Cures". This is simply not the case though.

For example, my religion includes the ingestion of Marijuana. When my little brother was dying from brain swelling (which is what happens to stroke victims, and there is no antidote except Cannabinoids), my religion could have saved him. But the Doctors did not have any Hospital grade Marijuana (purer than Medical Marijuana products), so now my brother is dead.

If there had been a way for me to use Marijuana (part of my religion) as a butter in his feeding tube or something, he would be alive right now. But Science has not gotten to this point yet.

Which is part of why I went and learned more about Endocannabinoids, and Peptides and Esters on my own, and now I show people how to make their own legal Cannabinoids at home by writing little articles and annoying people with them.

So you are just mad about the bandwagon youtube atheists?
I dont really care what people choose to believe in, more often than not people would ne scumbags with out soke body watching them with their eternity on the line... not everyone needs that, but atheists need to realize some people have been terrible their whole life and then embrace their flavor of religion, whatever that may be and become a better person.
Anyway carry on with your rant fin im sure this thread will go sideways in a page or 2.

If anyone thinks Atheism is just a "Rejection of Religion" and not a vicious circle of stupid. Please make your way to Youtube, where you will find people not arguing valid points, or showing anyone how science works. What you will find is people talking about Atheism and categorizing all other religions as one entity. Then pretending that because they left Christianity, anyone who is religious is just "stuck in that old way of thinking".

For example, if you watch videos from a year ago, you will find things about Atheists suggesting that all religions are equal, or that everyone has the "freedome FROM religion". But now you will literally find people acting as if "Religion Causes violence" or "Religion is ruining education" because as stated before, they have some experience with Christianity or maybe Islam for the rare Atheist that even knows anything about Islam. But they definitely don't know much about religion at all, and all the things I said in the 1st post are very true.

Who gives a fuck what some fool on YouTube has to say on the topic?

Atheism -is, in a broad sense, the rejection ofbelief in the existence of deities.[1][2] In a narrower sense, atheism is specifically the position that there are no deities.[3][4][5] Most inclusively, atheism is the absence of belief that any deities exist.[4][5][6][7] Atheism is contrasted with theism,[8][9] which, in its most general form, is the belief that at least one deity exists.[9][10]

Here is an example of the Atheist Stupidity. I am a Kemetic Hindu, and in the past if an Atheist saw another group that they thought of as a Minority (Hinduism is strong even in America, but Atheists think we are a marginalized minority because most Hindus don't argue or debate) they would have tried to work to get them on their side.

For example, in the past, Atheists has talked about the Solstice or Festavis. I even remember hearing just last year I am pretty sure, that Atheists put up a Festavis pole in some town and it made the people at FOX news made.

Now, you will literally hear Atheists talking about how there should be no religious displays. They Atheists even pretty much totally missed that the Satanists are putting up a Nativity of an Angel falling in to hell. I have only heard 2 Atheists even mention it, and it was only for like 3 minutes. None of them are suggesting that more of this should happen or anything like that.

I am not sure what happened, but it's almost as if Atheism is becoming some form of Supremacist group. Not racial Supreme type beliefs, but they definitely feel as if they title "Atheist" carries some better value than anything else. Even if they don't understand the other things.
