We'll I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.
"Atheists kill more people!"
"Prove it. Oh, and what about all this Christian terrorism..?"
"Violence is part of the human condition!"
"..."

What's interesting is that I just gave you a whole list of Christian violence and you justified it by saying "Violence is part of the human condition". How does that justify violence? "That's just the way it is" doesn't justify it. At one point people regularly owned other people as property and that same nonsensical justification could have been used then, today it would be absurd to own somebody as property in the western world.

Atheists don't kill people because they believe in God/s. The ones you mentioned did it because they felt religion threatened their regimes, any history book will tell you that, and Hitler was a Catholic, that's been proven over and over again.

The Christian terrorism on the other hand, as well as all religious terrorism, including Islamic extremism, IS based on, sanctioned by, or otherwise justified by the Bible or other religious texts. It's what gets people to murder abortion doctors or strap C4 to their chest and walk into a crowded shopping mall..

Again, I would wholeheartedly disagree
Just my theory so take it fwiw.

I think our humanities are mostly on a sliding scale. I believe it's something that can't be quantified by saying people are this or that. We all tend to share humanity traits, but to varying degrees.

I try to see people as mostly good, but that's my Pollyanna way of dealing with people in the real world.

Infidels can make up any race and can come from any culture, even Muslim ones, it has nothing to do with skin color at all.

If it's skin color discrimination you're looking to hate, look in your own backyard, America is full of em
Last week you said being anti Islamic was RACISM!!!! Can't keep your devoutly held beliefs straight? Or just stupid in general?

On the offensive scale they don't register as high today.

To me, the word that compares on the offensive scale is cunt. Not to a race, just as a word.

It's just personal opinion though green, I have no special powers to determine what is offensive to another.
Hint: If they punch you in the nose, they were offended

What about the death penalty in Uganda for being homosexual, explicitly promoted by USA Christians?

"Both male and female homosexual activity is illegal. Under the Penal Code, "carnal knowledge against the order of nature" between two males carries a potential penalty of life imprisonment and executions/torture are allowed with no legal liabilities for the executioners.

In November 2012, the speaker of the Parliament of Uganda promised to enact a revised anti-homosexuality bill, providing for harsher penalties against suspected LGBT people and anyone who fails to report them to authorities, including long-term imprisonment and the death penalty for what the law terms "repeat offenders".

Torture and executions occur and police participate or turn a blind eye to it."

So where are the "USA Christians"?

My very next post;

"Scott Lively, an author who has written several books opposing homosexuality; Caleb Lee Brundidge, a self-professed former gay man who conducts sessions to heal homosexuality; and Don Schmierer, a board member of Exodus International, an organisation devoted to promoting "freedom from homosexuality through the power of Jesus Christ"."

Your links don't mean shit. When you throw in the KKK to cite christian violence it's obvious you have no objectivity what so ever.

Firstly, the kkk is roundly condemned by the entire community of christians. They are not acting in violence because of anything in their faith. Do they profess Christianity, why yes they do. But it's irrelevant, racism sparks their violence.

Now if you want to have the argument that racism, you'll get no argument from me.

"Nature’s law, which is a creation of YAHWEH, dictates that kind reproduce after kind. The different people of the world were never supposed to mix. Even the different animals and species of our world practice natures law of reproduction "Kind after Kind"."

- White Camelia Knights of the Ku Klux Klan

Again, my point was that religion can be used to justify such behavior. Do you deny that?

The rest of my examples all committed terrorism because they were Christian, they didn't commit terrorism and just happen to be Christian.

The Muslim community at large explicitly condemns Islamic etremism and say the exact same thing you're saying about Christianity "Islamic extremism is roundly condemned by the entire community of Muslims."...

And im sure you believe him

Cloaking themselves in christianity is the only way they can appeal to anyone. Nothing about them is consistent with christianity. And their numbers are pathetically small.

I don't deny that people of any and all faiths can hold an extreme view that they can substantiate with a few out of context passages.

Slavery in American history was defended by people saying that jesus said slaves should obey their masters.

But it was the great awakening and religious activism that propelled the abolitionist.

The point jesus was trying to get across was that even if your life sucks, follow him and this short temporary existence will be rewarded with heaven.

I bet some Airman sitting in a drone control pod is christian and those hellfires rip people apart, so I would say that it probably happened today. The airman is thinking to himself " by the power of JESUS, I send you to hell!!".

No, they're christians. It's just what is driving them to terrorism isn't their faith. It is their hate.
