Have to agree with Jimmer on the amount of variables that determine yield. Some types produce more than others. I had plants almost 6' last year that gave me about 6 oz's, year before I had different plants about the same size and got a pound. If your plant is that large 4-6 oz sounds reasonable with the potential for much more depending on all factors involved - type of plant, are you feeding, is it getting good light, are there any insect or pest problems, deer, etc Never count on it until it's in the jar.....
Some make it look easy..... when your not looking.
All this, additionally it is nice to underestimate, because then you always get more than you thought you would.

Very interesting read. I was told along time ago to add a little charcoal to certain plants like Orchids, now I know why. Is this what created those big ass stalks.
