**SNIPPING ENDS OF LEAVES FOR MORE POTENCY?**

I've heard of stressing plants to produce more trichomes but all those methods are a bit like defoliating, the most controversial topic ever.

SNIPPING ENDS OF LEAVES FOR MORE POTENCY ?

yes it can help to increase resin in flower

snipping ends of leaves will increase airflow and this will reduce the humidity, the plant will produce more resin when the humidity is low,
but by only snipping the ends off, it will not stress the plant to much so it will carry on growing bud :)

botanists say its an evolutionary method the plant has developed to become unpalettable to animals , so the plants can survive ,

I've heard the trichomes were used to catch bugs for food like a carnivorous plant. I've heard the trichomes are protection from the sun. Idk what they are for but funk'n ayay I love them.

...or in the case of humans: the plant made itself more palatable, resulting in a high number of humans going to great lengths to cultivate as much of it as possible. It's a symbiosis!

maybe in the future it will evolve into producing pizza delivery numbers( as well as the tric's) for obvious reasons, anythings possible

No it will not cause your plant to be more potent, neither will putting a nail thru the stalk, x amount of hours darkness before flowering, x amount of hours of darkness before harvesting, pissing on it, chopping off all the fan leaves, praying or doing a cool little dance to the weed gods

I believe their is a method called "back budding" on ic mag - or somewhere - snipping just a tip of the bud and they fattened up although I would not do it. A comparison was convincing but most likely you want to let the plant retain all foliage unless mold issues in scrog.

Taking off fan leaves to give "buds" light is stupid. The leaves feed the buds through photosynthesis - look it up.

Don't take off any leaves. The tips of them, etc.

If you want to "up" the potency you can "up" the amount of resin by

having nice cold night temps 65f

drop the light schedule from 12/12 to 11/13 10/14 some will finish down to 8 on 16 off - play with it. Read about it.

Climate is very important for your potency, screw trimming leaves. peace.

edit - tried hunting the article down

it's on 420 magazine by a guy named light addict. sure you can find it.

all this snipping seems silly but i don't here anyone saying they tryred it,,i post these threads because people say theve done it on google , in just looking for a second , third , fourth appinion,,,,,,iv also heard if you snip new tops of further up than where youd top it , you can get 4 new stems instead of 2 ,, imagine how stupid that sounds,?

Its just a theory, with a good chance it works

High temps and low humidty
The plant protects it self by producing resin, so I can't see how droping the temp will help

Fuck, here we go again with the buzzword "it works". If I had a nickel for every.....

When you remove the very unit that produces resin, THC, roots, etc., it doesn't work.

Would some of you numbnuts please refer to fuckin' scientific test once in a while rather than what some retard at IC Rag posted? Sheesh!

Don't be so stupid and gullible people.
