For those that wonder what all those bottles of nutes do, I made a video

Lettuce and cucumbers are not very valuable by the pound like cannabis, negating the incentive to use higher quality synthetics. Also unless your seeking out farmers markets your at the mercy of the quality of the grocery store and their supplier. Its one thing to spend a few hundred on higher quality nutrients to grow a few pounds of cannabis that can hopefully get you at least 2k/lb wholesale, and a different story all together to spend that kind of money on lettuce that is very cheap at the wholesale level.

I know personally at least 5 warehouse growers using Advanced buying bases in 10 gallon sizes and additives by the gallons....Two of the best growers that shop at the store I work at use Advanced exclusively, despite my advise that their are other products in certain areas that perform better than Advanced products.

Heavy 16 is another high priced line that is used by a few commercial growers I know. Other than that most of the commercial growers are running the Flora series. I think Grow More over the next few years will really take off in my area by the larger scale growers. I have been recommending it to growers looking to stretch their dollar and everyone is very pleased with the results.

As soon as the laws change in my state and I can cultivate on a larger scale with a state legal way to distribute, I have no intention of changing my "expensive" feeding program.

Yep I love grow more, I Have/had the complete line, the golden tree works alot better, and is way easier to use.

It just seems like a combination of Heavy 16 Prime and Fire to me, and having ran those products compared to running their separate bottled competitors, the separate bottles performed better. I think it's convenient for controlling specific elements and the time/amounts that the plants seem to thrive with specific elements.

I mean I have never ran it, so I'm making a pure assessment based on experience with a similar sales pitch that fell short. I have 2 boxes of NFTG samples to get through, so maybe I'll give that a try in one of my tents later this year.

I think it is awesome that your video is featured on the front page of a product that you like and if your goal is to get your name out in the industry, that's a great way to do it!
I have heard alot of people not having good results with those products as well.

I have a question about these products priced like liquid gold. If they're really cost effective, why don't commercial greenhouse growers use them? Why aren't there dozens of mysterious concoctions sold to lettuce and cucumber growers? It seems like this stuff is peculiar to cannabis. Is there really something peculiar to this plant, or is it peculiar to our hobbyist mentality? (I.e., not as objective and cost effective as a commercial grower requires.).

if you look at the application rate of 2 mils per gallon for veg and 5mils per gallon in bloom, and then take into account all the bottles your using right now and their application rates ,which directly translate into numbers of bottles purchased. you will be pleasantly surprised at the money you SAVE for the long haul.

People see all those bottles in hydroponics stores and they wonder what they do , how they work, are they all good buys, is some of it hocus pocus? well I made a video detailing Nutes that I've used in the past, and nutes that i'm using now. if you have any questions please ask. comments are welcome However I won't argue with you, to each his/her own. like I said this is all based on nutes i've purchased and used...Enjoy and Peace!!

Nice vid keebo!

Just an FYI-Plants don't uptake those carb products. Those are intended for the microorganisms in your soil, which if you're using synthetic products you've probably rendered them dormant (or dead) any way.

you right!! damn it. huge mistake on my part....I dont use synthetics anymore (except for the Cal-mg) everything is organic...or organic enough to not mess up the rhizosphere. I use the golden tree in teas and the microbial life is abundant.

Wouldn't combining those strains no matter their source with this magic all in one make the plants even better...
Strains? Sorry bro, I don't know what you're talking about.

If you're referring to bacteria and fungi, those come from compost, not a bottle. You can purchase spores, but again, those don't come in a bottle of liquid.

I highly suggest GO CaMg+ the botanicare CaMg is nitrate and EDTA based which are the synthetic elements that are bad for microbe life.

Again, those don't come in a bottle from the hydro store shelf.

I don't need to read up on it. I know the role beneficial microorganisms play in the SFW.

Do YOU?
You didn't even know that the different types of fungus and bacteria were referred to as strains....Not to be a dick, but I felt a much lower need to answer to you after those comments.

Increase water intake alone is going to influence growth. They do lots of things that can benefit synthetic growers. Do you really need me to go into them all, in your attempt to classify me as someone who doesn't know what they are doing?

No, I don't want you to go in to it. You've done drank the hydro store kool-aid. This is evidenced by your 20 bottle regiment.

If you really wanted to realize the benefits of the SFW, you wouldn't be using synthetics.

I love that people always go to the 20 bottle regimen that isnt even 20 bottles and contains organic amendments lmao

I've indulged people on the thought, but now it's just sad when they attempt to point out my ignorance.
