When you are licensed by HC you have the option of being listed or not. Once you have product it is mandatory to be listed, them's the rules. There are always exceptions to the rules, but if your licensed, unless you pull a Green Leaf HC is not going to pull your LP status, unless it's for security or safety issues and they are all dealt with before you get your LP. So not likely to happen.

They are not the newest. They announced their approval before April 1 even (https://twitter.com/adam_greenblatt/status/451050732394127360), and there have been about 5-7 since then, including one two weeks ago. Irregardless, your 'new != newest' comment doesn't even make sense. I wonder if you realize that?

Welcome to the issue. There are approximately 25 approved LP.s
New != newest
In code != often represents 'not equal'
oddish may be trying to say that just because they were the last to appear, does not make them new......?

Looks like I am down for the count.

What was an acceptable location the first time around dosnt look like it is anymore. What was accepted in the application earlier, no longer is. I would definitely be wary of the ever changing rules, not set up for small producers at all. I guess it is time I go eat some crow.

Should have pushed harder on the first application, I think it would have gone through at the time. The silver lining is that the the numbers just don't add up anyway (supply vs demand). Better not to get a license than to start and fail...

If anyone wants any feedback about is PM me. Hopefully others can take something from it.

imo the apps need to be correct and 100% the first time! no if ands or butts.
I new second round applications wont get threw.
and if you actually want in now, you need millions, and large lobbyists
once land has been denied or that application the land is then black flagged for life and wont get back in under this gov
and supply and demand will change once everything clears a bit and the real goal is to chill long term till legalization, imo. then BOOM. no more mmj, it will be legalized all over Canada and then watch the prices jump

Why would prices jump if it's legal?...people will be able to grow their own. Those that don't want to will be able to find it easily.

Well, we withdrew our first application after it had made it through the first phase due to zoning issues. We re-submitted once the zoning issues had been resolved with what was essentially the same application (that had previously been accepted for the next phase), but things had changed a lot. The location that was previously good with them (they even offered to call the zoning department if it would help us) is no longer acceptable; ridiculous.

It's hard to have a complete application the first time when there are so many items that they dont tell you are required. Have half a mind to start spamming them with applications to review (just kidding).

We have had 3 clients denied by HC come to us and all three are back in the process and moving on without submitting a new app.. We can't win every battle but so far so good. I was just retained to help another client, who HC said no to because of too many residences, we should have that turned around in a few weeks after we do our diligence on why HC said no and respond to HC concerns.

BY the way HC does this quite often and people roll over, that's what HC wants, to eliminate people from the process as easy as they can. Most times they take a quick look at the aerial shot and if they see houses your gone, it does not need to be that way.

Get hold of me if you like and lets see if it can be turned around, we are getting good at this. It may be impossible but we can tell you if that is the case, and I'll advise you for free on weather we think you can win. We have been working with HC to help define grounds for rejection and have been successful in nailing down what they should be looking for as opposed to just a general comment too many houses or safety. There are four main areas they look at to access your location. Rejection requirements are more clear today than they ever have been, but HC still likes to try to spook you into folding by sending out rejection letters, don't rollover.

Peace

People can brew beer and make wine too but not many do it. I hope they let people grow their own, we can grow now just limit it to 5 plants.

Can grow now???
5 plants will see you go through the court system. Maybe loose your job and kids in the process. And be ladled with a rap sheet that says you are a bad person!
Awesome deal for sure?!?!

about your next thought.. :)
Why should HC be listening to you? No offense really.
Who have you 'portrayed' yourself to be in HC eyes, that you have a say in how these businesses should be run? :)
.. why should or would HC listen to what you have to say?
... do you really think your ideas are just? Where did you draw your experience from anyway?

:)

I'm sorry to hear this.
I was rooting for you. Perhaps it is a blessing in disguise. I'm sure with your talents and drive there will be some opportunity that will present itself.
All the best,
leaf

New Sin Taxes will drive the prices. Look at the sell prices in Washington State and what the tax rate is...enough to make you gag. The BM in Wash St must be loving it.
Most of us here know how to grow our own. Some are more successful than others. Even if everyone was allowed to grow their own there would still be a majority of people who would buy elsewhere. Not everyone can grow, I've seen many that have failed.

Yoda trained me

I don't mind you shooting your mouth off, it amuses me and most of the other adults here. It also destroys any credibility you have on this web site, that I like because no one gives a dam about what you say.

A shallow stream makes more noise than a deep river.

Hey woodsman either your a patient or your an LP...stop trying to be both
I thought this was a med patient forum. Why don't you post all this shit on a LP forum. As a matter of fact why doesn't everyone here who would prefer to an LP ...fuck-off and go seek your dreams on an LP forum.
I for one am sick of reading all about the trials and tribulations of becoming an LP. Boring to most of us. So woodsman why don't you take your work/job and your advocating and your agenda to a forum for the LP world. Because here you just insulting a bunch of sick people.
This is a forum for med patients...not a bunch of greed bags trying to corner the market of MMJ. Keep on dreaming boys. Because your fucked before you even got started !!
