I have curiosities about bar lights and theses are pretty much the top ones.
I wouldn't custom BML...just what they recommend as their best spectrum they make...general customers shouldn't have to know about and choose their ideal spectrum...a knowledgeable company should have tested ones enough that they can say for the majority of purposes and species this spectrum "X" will work great.

I have DIY to test spectrums idea's my self.
And I am very pleased as always with the AT R2
Illumitex is standing behind their F3
BML would be the growth max

So bml or illumitex...what would people choose. Based soley on how they would perform...not price. I'm pretty sure bml make a 1000 that should run about 500w+ like the new illumitex DS.

And speaking of price the at600 is cheaper dollar per watt than bml600...I like how you quote the at120 that you know full well is out of production and blow out at 535$ plus the current models have been out for a year.
mad they will actually cover a 4x4 like it says it will. Do you really think that 300w of bml is enough for 4x4(16sqft)???...of course you don't that is why you have the spider plus 2 helper bar dick high off the canopy in just 4x2(8sqft)...more wattage and half the area. And still not making me look twice.
Let it play out and we will see.
FYI,

I went to their site and it's right there, at that price, so I don't appreciate your snide comment

https://www.apachetechinc.com/

Since I was already in flower mode, I decided to use the 2 extra bars, which are no where near as warm as the SPYDR bars. I commented in my thread that the SPYDR uses new tech, whatever that means. But they run hot. Blowing a common household fan over them cooled them down considerably

That you haven't looked twice really doesn't hurt my feelings.

You've got some sweet lights working.

Again, this thread is not for sophisticated led users

Keep in mind BML is not focused on mj at this moment. Obviously, they are curious to get involved. Their light spectrums are geared to commercial greens.

I would like to try a SPYDR with mostly 3000K + either 1/5 450s or 4000Ks. I added the 2700s because I did not know the spectral graph for the 3000 and wanted to be safe. The 625s were BMLs idea, and since it is his light, I went along as it couldn't hurt

Next grow I will just use just the SPYDR for anyone who is interested. I know I am

Yes, let it play out, but I will continue to post comments/updates as new people ask what to buy

Then you miss the point of this thread, as it is a thread to recommend tried and true options, not to hype up whichever company gives you a free panel this week. Our community is better than that, but apparently you're not. You might as well be on 420mag.com pushing Mars II panels with SmokeSara, you shill.

To anyone sick of hearing about the untested Bowel Movement Light in everyone of Pet's posts, feel free to click on PetFlora's avatar, and select the "ignore" button. This will edit Pet and his nonsense out of your life. We've all tried to be reasonable with him, but god damn, what a stubborn ass clown, he can't see that he's ruining the credibility of the thread, rather than contributing to it.

Yes but it does pull the integrity of said thread into question when you have the shameless pitchman answering all newbie led users inquiries with the option of a light that has great marketability but use in the field is still being determined. I would not be saying this if pet had already completed a grow and then claimed what he does with the double the size in buds and all. Not to mention a full grow.

For the record pet i do not care what light you use or tell others to use since it is your credibility on the line not mine. I know i would not be selling my word as you are without feeling good about the product but the results (quantatative not "they look bigger") will speak for thenselves one way or another.

First A51 wasn't all that tried and true just a year ago. In November 2013 Jeff wanted me to do a grow on another grow site using an all-white panel

It would be obvious to anyone who understood that 2 + 2 = 4 that the SPYDR 600 using Osram 3w diodes (with my chosen spectrums) should work WELL.

Plus , Bricksquad, another RIU grower is now on his second flowering + mine, which to date is far from shabby, so, far from unproven. BUT, instead of embracing BML as another quality choice, the jealous jackals resigned themselves to criticize, even when they can see from my pics that they are wrong, they continue

But those who continue to promote A 51 and Apache are not called out as 'shameless pitchmen'

Double standard?

Why do I keep doing this? Why? Why?.......................................Fuckin someone hit me with a rock! :wall:

No double standard, you're a shill. You don't make any other suggestions like say GG or Bad Kharma do, even though we clearly know who their favorites are. You just pop into peoples threads, suggest a product you still don't know shit about, no mention of full disclosure and then ask people to stop by your thread which is all a flat out fucking sales pitch IMO. There's a way to demo panels + products (See GG and PSU), and a way to sell them. You're a fuckin' salesman and have a completely biased view of what you're doing. And that's not even the worst part.

Also adding additional cooling to your panel does not increase PAR silly, it maintains it, (and technically it decreases the panels efficiency). If it actually increases PAR then it was a poorly designed POS panel. Period. And Borrow My Lights doesn't use 100% OSRAM LEDs in all diodes/configuration since OSRAM doesn't make all the spectrums/Kelvins that Bacon Mayo + Lettuce offers. There are mystery diodes involved in their panels sonny Jim. And that's from Barely Makin Lumens website btw, ya may want to read that part carefully. These are just a sample of the lies and ignorant statements, (genetic purity! WTF dude ), that you use to sell yourself as some kind of authority on LEDs and LED growing that make me wonder how anyone would take your advice. In other words, stop trying to sell yourself and STFU+G.

Now go back and read it again PetFlora because it seems you have some kind of reading comprehension disability. Maybe ya want to take that weed out of your mouth once in a while sonny Jim.

And don't give back that panel! Seriously! Don't you dare give it back. Keep taking pictures but don't post them till they say you can have it.

And don't compare Buy My Lights to Illumitex everyone. Completely different ways of using tech. Illumitex is not without it's faults but it's tech is astounding. They make their own from die to panel something Bustas Makin' Lumens doesn't do. Doesn't mean their panels are better than Bad Monkey Love's panel, but they are on a completely different plane. It's like comparing Apples and Starbursts**.

** Pet the Apples would be the Illumitex and the Starburst are Bitchy Matronly Lady's panels. In other words an attempt to copy a superior product. Now go back and read that again.

I don't know why you keep sticking your finger in the electric socket, either.

You seem to like it

Of course your girlfriends will love your wordy useless diatribe. Spaz already "liked" it

None of what you said changes the truth.

BML is a quality product. Bricksquad has proved it, and my results confirm it.

lol your results after 9 days confirmed it being a quality light... OK !!!

and I like Frans post due to it being factually accurate..... probably the reason I dont "like" your BML posts

Pet even after his brutal honesty, Fran STILL goes out of his way to help you. This is such an important fact, and I'm glad Fran brought it to the light for you. I don't want to see anyone get in serious trouble (like myself, no more ganga for me... for at least a year, could of been worse..) <--- for a fucking rolling stop, not growing. SO..

No matter how much you drive some ppl up the wall, he still makes it a point to help cover your shit! Seriously, don't return the light. And step back and think about how EH dropped off the grid as soon as he knew he went to far with the PP account, I think EVERYONE needs to step back and realize how wrapped up we get sometimes. Fran knows. I hope you are doing well friend! Psu- stay cool it's getting toasty 'round here.

I hear ya! Those little bastards give me the heebeejeebees too but I hear that they're pretty good a eating pests that can do damage to the crop. I still stomp on them though. Wasps and bees also tend to get me excited. I once watched a full grown man drive off the road and crash because of a wasp in his car. Amazing what a little bug can make a full grown man do!
LOL Yeah…I normally like spiders…when they're not ON me! :) That poor spider suffered because he didn't know how to jump! And my clone is STILL recovering from it! :)

Might you have stated more precisely which of the two links were the "results". I had to read two boring threads, to realize that statement, you have nothing, just 10 days has been running the SPYDER. and it can not be called "result".

plus:
Somehow I did not save the email regarding that, but I think he said OSRAM/OSLON XB series
They are 3w diodes, and appear rectangular
mmm...if you're not so sure.

I just finished installing the SPYDR + Bars
then it is not enough with the SPYDER, it need extra.

According to BML "keep them close"
poor response for a reputable company dont you think? and implies that they are not specialized in the MJ, but in the normal farmer

BML is the only light I would trade my own lights in for. I would take the plastic cover off, and also put up some reflecting walls.
I am noticing a lot more heat from the top (back) side of SPYDR, which is 8" below where the hot5 currently is holding place- just in case

essentially, it is acting as a quasi top, but all four sides between the 2 are open, plenty of air flow potential

Today, I repositioned my fan so it blows across both the SPYDR and the top of the plants, but it is perpendicular to the SPYDR bars
poor ventilation? problems of heat?

The whole issue is summarized here.
I'm not trying to be critical of BML or the light itself, but the design as this is a new product/concept, and have just been released so there's plenty of room for improvements. As with any design, it has to run through it's course in order to work out the bugs. This is technology and it's progression and without our(market) feedbacks, any design flaws will be overlooked.

As I stated before, this is a very good concept to offer the flexibility of adjusting the coverage and intensity to fit your particular application. We are the actual end-users that will put products thru the ringer and manufacturers will use our feedbacks to improve their products. Once the bugs have been worked out, they will definitely have a winner if it can deliver the intensity as stated.

I also think the Spyder will do a lot better if u had a few more bars.

You're right, these bar systems were designed for large-scale, multi-level, commercial farming application and have just recently been adapted for canna-specific application. The problem is our application demands a lot more intensity than the above mentioned commercial application.
.
I think you have to wait a generation or two of BML to buy one of their products, since, recently are beginning the focus on MJ.

Thanks anyway.

Hope your doing well friend!!! , we miss your grows and good info you always contributed in here; soon enough grower.

Yeah these medi-state growers have no idea how it is in the rest of this country, mandatory minimum's are the monkey on our backs for now. I cover myself well, and my panels or grow shit never gets sent to my building(hope pet didn't reveal his true address! I doubt it) ...........I run the local community garden and am actively involved in urban farming scene to draw no ??'s about my gear. But you never know what can happen, and growing is risky......

For profit ended awhile ago soooooo I sleep a little better now, was a scary time for me as puffenuff knows........anyways enough babble, be safe brother...........
