This is nothing compared to a few times in the not so distance past. should have been here when one mod was acting like a crazed lunatic due to jealousy over attention another mod recieves.

Even a large Southern family in the time period couldn't have picked all the cotton they grew. Outside help was sorely needed. Unfortunately, blacks in Africa were selling other blacks in Africa aftercapturing them during tribal encounters and putting them into slavery there. You can only use so many slaves, the rest they sold. And the rest is history.

So if they had brought them here to work and paid them a poverty wage we would not have this problem.

They did it up in the New England area with young girls to work in the mills. The Catholic Priest would go up to Canada and round up a bunch of girls and bring them back to work.

they have a version of this in thailand. families rent their daughters, (and sons,) to fishbowls (whore-houses) for a year or two at a time. they're pretty poor there, and need money. still, i can't imagine doing that to my kids....
