My Right Nut Is Swollen!!!

Help!!

I had a numb/tingling sensation running up my thigh to my crotch, which by itself wasnt that big of a deal. But then i discovered that my right nut is swollen up significantly. This might seem like a funny thread, but im kinda freaking out here. I dont have medical insurance

Any input?

You're not in a fraternity are you? In my college days I was forced to eat dog food as a toga-clad pledge and the next day my jewels swole up something fierce. The swelling quickly reduced on its own.

But in all seriousness, figure out a way to get that looked at. Community health care screening, public health clinic, even one of those private light-emergency clinics. If all else fails and you cannot get it examined, go to the emergency room at the county hospital. I would call the county hospital first to see what your options are before using emergency services. Help is out there, but you must seek it out.

Both, but it was a reaction to something in the Alpo with tobasco sauce, this I am certain.

If I were in your shoes, I would Google public health services and the city you live in. Failing that I would contact your state health department for a referral.

I have never had to go to the U.S. for medical care but i did watch sicko and it made me very sad to see the americans who could not get help because they could not afford it

Maybe not you, but many Canadians go elsewhere for treatment because of rationing.

Limiting your knowledge base to Michael Moore will provide you with a very skewed, and incorrect, view of the United States. Michael Moore hates America.

Nobody is denied health care in the U.S. for lack of funds. It is available, but you must be willing to seek it out.

My brothers wife was pregnant, and for her first trimester they did not have medical coverage, because his work would not qualify it. We were watching animal cops and there were some abanded puppies. a full on ambulance came and some were taken into surgery.

What kind of world is it when human babies are given second priority over puppies. Dont get me wrong, puppies are damn cute. But where are our priorities when dogs get preference over humans and babies?

You get humiliated, and treated like a second class citizen, and forced to wait far longer than ther "paying" patients...not to mention the embarrassing talks with the billing dept as to why you can't pay and when you will......anyway, get your nut checked out, just in case it's serious.

What about the pharmacy though? After you go to this public health place, how do you get your meds?That's also an embarrassment. I just know how they act around here, from experience...we had insurance...paying 160 every two weeks...until we realized that they wouldnt cover my pre- existing depression. I havent had meds in 6 months.

The swelling went down, but the numbness is still there.

that's not cool. what if you have an infection? just go to the emergency room of your nearest hospital. they will look at it, write you a prescription for antibiotics and send you a bill. you don't need cash or insurance. at least not here you don't.
