5 x 5 grow tent with accessories

I ordered the fan and carbon filter for my 5 x 5 grow tent this week.
First of all the fan is sound-insulated and some moves 580 cfm. First impression is it's HUGE compared to my two current fans. Same applies to the carbon filter and it alone weights some 25 pounds.
Looking at tents in online stores I often can't see any info on how much they are meant to carry. They have a limit, that's certain, but can larger tents carry this much? Can I assume yes or should I ask the store?

Most tents have additional rails you can purchase. I suggest contacting the purchase location. Otherwise don't be afraid to get innovative to reinforce it.

How is your fan sound insulated? I would like to know what fan you purchased and where, thanks.

While my fan is pretty loud, I guess its low to others because they don't live/sleep in their grow area.
I wouldn't care either, but I live in the same room as my tent, need quiet or I go mad.

TD-SILENT is the brand. It's supposed to have a noise close to 30 dB measured one meter from the fan. I don't have the equipment to confirm or deny that, but that much I can give that it's surprisingly silent and moves a LOT of air.
Again, for privacy reasons I wouldn't want to name my supplier here.

lol for privacy reasons? No offense but if LEO wanted you, they would get you, no need to know where you buy stuff from.

Thanks for the information though, I'll check it out.

Edit:

I'll pass, just looked at multiple websites, reviews, videos.
It has nothing a normal in-line doesn't have, it really just has a cool looking jet engine design is all.

My inline really isn't that loud anyway, especially not enough to justify the $200-300 price tag of the inline alone. I got my vantech combo filter + inline for $100, both work like a $200+ one, and on a speed controller it can be as low as a normal house fan (I need it on med to high though for my 800W)

Sounds like it would be a good product if they could actually make it quiet. Those fans are only quiet (or slightly quiet) when on low power mode. On high they sound like any other inline, and they don't move as much air - 100-300 CFM compared to 400+ CFM.

Thanks for the hints. I'll have to reconsider.
Not a lot of fans available close to where I live and the store said it was quiet so I went for it. I don't have a lot of experience with fans, and the two I have now (Can-Fan 150) seem about as noisy as my new TD-Silent when running together. So yes, I'm still of the opinion that this could be a worthy purchase especially if I manage to hang it inside the tent and use sound-insulated duct. Noise has been a concern since I started growing and any improvement is positive to me.
