I have no problem at all with amending the constitution. That is constitutional. I am not going to chase down the multitude of posts about "written by old, white men who owned slaves". If you are interested, a good example of that sort of sneering disrespect toward the constitution and its authors is contained in the memo written by the dean (of something or other) at UCSB when explaining the recent incident where a professor of feminist studies assaulted a child and denied her the constitutionally guaranteed right to freedom of speech.

That memo is diagnostic of the attitude of progressive leaders toward our constitutional republic. That attitude, if it succeeds, will come home to bite them in the ass, of course, when things like homosexuality are oppressed.
