Looks big enough.. I clip just above the 6th leaf or cut leaves 7 and 8 as they emerge enough for a clean cut.. Usually get 4+ main colas.... I have been known to cut leaves 5 and 6(not sure that's recommended though)..

They look really nice. Now is the perfect time to FUCK you missed them tops Bro. No need to wait. If you wait too long or like some mentioned : 4,5,6 nodes, then there is a greater risk of a taller plant when as if you where to start them off around the third.
I attached one of my all time favorite videos concerning this matter. Must warn you that the guy in video has a major potty mouth but the guy has a kick ass reputation for mammoth plants. Seeing is believing. Peace Bro........

I wish one of these experts here on this site will see this thread of yours Mr.Chris323, cause I have read so many different opinions. I know that if you Top, you'll get two colas growing from that area and when FIMMing you'll get after the new growth, 4 cola's, when there would have been just 2..also with this type of FIMMing, I understand that other parts of the pant will start bushing out as if you had FIMed them also, at least this is what I understand my friend to be telling me. But here's my problem, and please , anyone reading this, please jump right in and answer this for me.....????.... I heard that if you have many tops going on, this will weaken the THC content in your harvest....?..... Is this true ?

This is not true at all. I'm sure there are some scrog guys out there who would like a word with whomever told you that.
Thanks, cause I see a lot of growers multiplying the hell out of their plants and continue to do the same on their next future grows. That's what I thought was weird or didn't make sense for someone to do it again if the weed sucked. Thanks Mr.Bucees :peace:

Well by the sounds of it . Fimming is the right option..
Mr.Chris323, hope we can see some pics down the road. Good luck Bro :peace: Just something to think about, just saying IDEA ONLY, that is: you will get more growth on either method that you chose and of course all the little guys mid-way and down that are struggling for their share amount of light will starve. So there is that bending the branches. A friend that we know had a male pop up so he practiced on it. The out come was amazing, to bad it was a male. I took a pic cause it was one beautiful plant with what would of been lots of buds at only 20 inches tall.

Does the first set of leaves (above the cotyledons) count as a node, even though they "died out"?
