Yes I can fill you in.

They pay their bills.

If you're in the USA then power is pretty cheap.

If you're in the UK then power is expensive as hell.

With massive grows there is no cheats wAy to get electricity without stealing it.

Steal electricity and suffer the consequences when they find out.

I live I California, I suspect we are among the most expensive states for electricity.

To run one 1,000w lamp for one hour it would cost 0.35¢ for myself.

Others are in areas where the electricity is quite low, 0.08¢ per KWH.

To figure your costs take the cost of one KWH from your utility company and then multiply it by the amount of hours and wattage you will use.

Ok so I'm trying to figure out how much electric I can use before it gets suspicious to the electric company. Where I live its .13cents kWh. So based by your electric cost which is. 35kWh how much a month could you use before looking suspicious out drawing attention, a guesstimate would be satisfactory.

Pay your bills on time and nothing is suspicious.

Who's to say you're not running welding machines?

In the UK it costs around 14p a kwh which is around 0.20$.

Precisely! Never steal electricity and always pay your bills. Many homes have much higher electricity usage then you suspect, people love their HVAC systems!

Unless you are operating a large scale site I suspect that your utility company just wants to get paid.

My friend has three battery powered wheelchairs and is constantly charging one or the other. My electric was $45 and his was $250. Consumption won't get you busted, not paying for it will

I deal with a high bill also. Well, not as high as yours or no where close. lol But mine runs right around 200 - 250 max during the coldest winter months. ;) sorry yours is so high though. That sucks!

This winter electricity in parts of New England rose to $0.17/kWh (.12 supply + .05 delivery). One of my friends power bill was $650. In NYC it is closer to $0.25/kWh. High electric bills are no problem, very circumstantial evidence and yes the power companies just want to get paid.

Some people use electric heaters, tons of AC, tons of dehumidification, saltwater aquariums with HID lighting, swimming pool accessories, electric smokers, do tons of laundry, leave their TVs and computers running and have teenagers that take long hot showers. Their bills can easily be higher than growers bills.
