Hi All,
If im reading right, there is major confusion about wattage regarding the Hans Panel & others that are emerging onto the LED GrowLight Market, the Hans uses 80 Watts power mate, nothing about its 'output' as suppliers like Hans and Photonics always rate their LED's by the power they use. Not what they emit.

Both use OSRAM LED's aswell, cut a long story short : new generation of LED's that output a lot more light for less input power then normal LED's & they run a hell of a lot cooler.

Thats the way LED's are going. So that 'little' 80 Watt is probably equivalent to a 250 Watt 'normal light output rated' LED.

Still not powerful enough to yield a lot but a decent couple of oz at least from one plant.

Proof? oh yeah, my forum has it all mate, i run a non biased LED testing forum.

Two journals, from seed to finish, same soil, pot, area, seed & feed. Everything the same apart from the LED.

last grow from a 150 Power draw Epistar, Cree, Bridgelux --> 240 Watt output LED was 140 Gr. Dry

next from a 90W Power Draw OSRAM unit (output ?? never confirmed) --> 118 Gr Dry & the plant was stunted from the cold to start with as this LED emits no heat at all. Less then any other LED ive tested.

Getting back to Area51, yeah hes snowed under & spammed an awful lot, my emails get caught up in their spam folders sometimes, i just keep emailing them lol.

That lense problem looks a easy fix, unscrew the face plate, re-adjust so it sits evenly in the hole and screw back down, they look very similiar to the Cidly Apollo type lenses and the way they fit in, but im only going by the pics posted on here.

Anyhoo, thats my pennies worth, just coming in peace is all, not more LED wars eh? had enuff of those and dodgy LED marketeers making silly statements about their LEDs.

Proof is in the pudding these days, we need to see before buying. Nuff said.

Peace All & Happy Growing Karma To All!

Did you even click the other setup links up top before you spoke again?

I would produce equally fluffy nugs with insufficient lighting, when your intensity isn't strong enough you get fluff. I learned this from my CFL grows 5 years ago.
