cfls hydro

Ok, so basically.... i was a total noob, and really i dont think there was any way around it asides from actually trying to grow yourself...

i wanted to hydro with mh's and hps's

come to find out its way to hot for HID's atm in my location.. the heat and instensity of the lamps had nothing but "make my plants retarded" written all over it...

so i improvised.... i started using cfl's which my plants absolutely love!

only slight problems exist.... i have a hydro system, but instead of using the reservoir i manually water the plants every 3-4 days....

watching some video i thought i was going to be watering 3 times a day!

watering once every 3-4 days is very much so doable and i dont need pumps and heavy reservoirs interfering with my day....

so now.... the only good investments for me were, the squirrel cage fan, oscillating fan, the wood, mylar, and other building materials, the stand for my plants, and my drill bit.

as for right now i have a reservoir not being used, a pump, a 600w MH conversion bulb, a reflective hood, and a 600w hps ballast... ALL NOT BEING USED...

im thinking about taking the cfls the entire way through harvest...

i want to use a hps, but in order for me to do so i will need to wait for the cooler months...

my questions are:

does anyone want to buy the stuff i am not using?
does anyone have any suggestions for me as for watering my plants or using the tools and resources that are not being used at the time being?
should i wait to flower with a hps in a cooler month, or take this batch all the way with cfls?

here are some pics

Yo chrome my friend i just gotta say those plants look beautiful. Go CFL all the way as long as you got enough 2700K CFL's to supply. I mean hey sometimes HID is just not practical and there are plenty of posts with good harvest from CFL's. Go Big or Go Home hehe-

my digi cam is broken and my phone def cant get together a clear picture...

let me try to describe...

u know the little hairs that come off of each node branch... they are like two little flakey looking things on each side of the plant at each level .... males and females have them

right next to those two flakes i noticed a tiny protrusion with two fuzzy hairs coming out...

THEY SURVIVED MY 10 DAY VACATION....

all alone for 10 days, i come home they are healthy BUT one of them decided to take a break and lay down...

little rat... i put some chopsticks in the rockwool and stood him right up... daddy's home and its time for some flowering!!!

the red spectrums are going in and all the blue spectrums are coming out...

maybe ill leave a few blues in there im not sure yet...

flowering time...

the 48 hr break is tonite, and here are the pics from 5 mins ago...

they are a few feet tall now

i dont have a cloning station where i can keep clones of the female...

should i

A. wait until i can contruct a mother room out of a big storage barrel with some computer exhaust fans, OR

B throw them all into flowering and wait until second grow to worry about cloning and mothers, etc...

majority will win at 9 oclock tonite a lights out... here are the pics
