Ethylene & Auxin - can I influence my plants gender?

So I have some seeds. They are not feminized. In order to save time and effort, I want to do anything I can to ensure I get females.

The wikipedia page on cannabis says this:
"Environmental sex determination is known to occur in a variety of [other] species.[73] Many researchers have suggested that sex in Cannabis is determined or strongly influenced by environmental factors.[62] Ainsworth reviews that treatment with auxin and ethylene have feminizing effect"

Many people have unknowingly used Ethylene, when you put apples in bags with other fruit, it's Ethylene given off by the apples that causes the other fruit to ripen.

So my questions:

- Has anyone used either of these hormones in an attempt to influence plant gender? What were your results?

- Can anyone tell me where I can buy / source these hormones?

- I've also heard of some unrelated methods of forcing gender, like watering with warm water, using certain neuts, if anyone has a proven method along these lines I would love to hear that too

I use deep cups ... There is NO telling what effect those hormones have with mutation down the line

Just to be clear, i'm relying on the concept that gender is not entirely determined in-seed. Not trying to mutate any genetics, just encourage the female potential to show
