Why are my purple kush plants droopy?

I have 6 plants and 2 are purple kush currently in veg. I plan on flipping to 12/12 in a few days.. The purple kush appears droopy. Everything else is fine, and the other 4 plants are not droopy.

I'm growing in a 4x4 flood/drain using top feed that drains back to the reservoir. Using AN 3-part (grow, micro, bloom) and most of the additives. The room is temp-controlled (78 degrees), temp at the plant tops is 88 degrees, and the lights are approx 18" above the tops, running 1250ppm CO2. Water is chilled to 65 degrees. Ph is always between 5.8 - 6.2.

I have 2 NextLight Pro series lights. 1 Mega Pro and I just added a Plus Pro yesterday. This 'issue' was present prior to adding the latest light. 960 total watts.

My NY Diesel and Super Lemon Haze are all standing tall.

Is this just the strain? Thoughts? Ideas?

I typically don't pay attention much to EC. I feed according to the chart and my PPM's are usually around 1500.

My BlueLab Guardian monitor shows 2.0 EC. The BlueLab truncheon says 1.8 EC.

Thanks for the info. I'm done fooling with nets. I'm about to flip to flower in a few days. About 2-weeks into flower I'm going to lollipop them. I've always used a net but it's a pain and makes it more difficult to tend to the plants. I don't know that it increases yield very much. I did 1 grow about 6 months ago. I veg'd for 2-weeks and then flipped. No net and I got the highest yield ever.

So you have a guardian set up but don’t pay attention?

That seems like an awful lot of light for that space. Perhaps phototoxicity as it pertains to nutrient uptake. Not an expert by any means (full disclosure my last crop was in 2000 AD, it's been awhile). Still, the Mega Pro should be plenty of photons for a 4x4 space. Also, the form factor of these two lights isn't the most compatible. Most lights like the Plus Pro are for hang 'em high settings (greenhouses, warehouses, etc.although the wattage may be low for that). Plus Pro - hang it high, use for supplemental lighting. Mega Pro - hang it lower, main light in a grow tent or enclosed space. I saw that your problem with the purple kush was occurring before the addition of the Plus Pro, but I feel like I see some signs of light stress across the grow space. Of course, I'm looking at a picture on the internet of part of your grow I really know nothing about and (further full disclosure) I've never grown with LED's. Know alot about them, not the same I realize. Anyhoo, try without the Plus Pro for a bit, and raise or dim your Mega Pro (if feasible).

But, take all that with a grain of salt. I've spent the last four days starving myself, two nights of no sleep and I'm on my 3rd pair of underwear this morning.

"Colonoscopy, anyone"? "Oh, no thanks, I have one coming up in about an hour. Thanks for thinking of me though"!

Good stuff! Thanks for the advice. I'll raise these lights even further. To about 24-28" and see what happens. THANKS!
