Hey @Hook Daddy appreciate you taking the time to make the whole thread on the DIY cannatrol. I was wondering do you still use it or have you found a better method? I was considering buying the cannatrol but would rather not spend +$1600 if I can just make one myself.

Thank you. I still use both of mine all the time. I don’t even take out the buds until I’m ready to load it up again, then I put them in grove bags.

Sorry if this is the wrong spot to reply. I'm having a hard time navigating this site. But you said don't use fox farm.....my seeds are germinating now for about 24 hours.... I don't have time to order more soil from online is there a good choice soil for the seeds say at like home Depot? An they will be ok to transplant correct?

Since he said Home Depot I just advised him on seedling soil that is sold there. I know they carry the MG brand. My advice was only for the seedlings, say first few weeks after sprout. This is just to get the seedlings going.

I totally get you but this individual said they have happy frog soil and I said that I've germinate and currently grow in happy frog and my plants are happy asf. I said MG is just not the soil to use... especially if you have soil that is quite literally built for germinating and seedlings.

Good looks everyone. I'm still doing the C walk like Dub C. I'm starting a new grow journal this year. Moved from Florida to Maine. Best thing I ever did. Ive learned a lot about colder climates. this year I'm growing all organic and outdoors. I got a couple seeds in the mail. Might get clones.I also have a side experiment going on you can check out in my journal.

I have some experience with the Ethernet piece, having designed my own multi room music streaming hardware, however Ethernet isn't cost effective on small scale. Some have instead relied on prebuilt modules that can be found on AliExpress, which done at a price that is hard to believe.

Did you have PoE in mind?

This looks like an interesting project. Is this for your own usage?
