So far, what's been the happiest moment in your life?

One stands out in my memory. I'd recently transitioned to single-seaters and was flying a glider that weighed less than my motorcycle. I caught a thermal and went in a few minutes from 2000 feet AGL to 8100. Blue air, mind you. All of a sudden, I was inside a Frisbee-shape of new cloud. I cannot do justice to the exuberance of that moment in words ... it was a brief contact with pure beauty and joie de vivre. cn

Too many to choose from...sri. I had a very happy childhood. Been married 3 times so many unhappy moments, too. It may be a cop out to say that. Might have been a Pink Floyd concert in 1972 or either of my kids arriving. Good question; lousy answers LOL.

i think the day i graduated HS. i dont think anyone hated school the way i did but my mom said if i ever got held back a grade or dropped out she'd stab me and i still to this day believe she would have. so i busted my ass and got the grades and grad day came. then i was like fuck school im out! only time ive ever cried tears of joy

When my son graduated LOL
I knew my daughter would, but the way my son is, and his relationship with his mother, was detrimental to his study habits.

Mixture between winning my first national race and my first harvest there are sooo many good memories life is sweet

I can't really think of one.

Is that bad or good,

It could be every day is the worst day.

Or

It could be everyday is the best day.

What happened, when was it and what makes it the happiest moment of your life?
Watching my grandson being born, I didn't see my own children being born I was way to busy pushing them out (sorry if thats to much information) but my grandchild I watched in amazement as he came into the world.

  1. Sitting on a mountain top listening to the wind in the trees
  2. standing in the rain during the monsoons (sometimes I dance too)
  3. gathered around the fire pit with good friends and listening to the night chorus of frogs and crickets (and the occasional coyote)
  4. spending time with my dumb-ass family :p
  5. watching a beautiful sunset over Shiprock
  6. Christmas with the Las Posadas and the farolitos, luminarias, Posole, Christmas tamales, sweet rellenos, etc.,etc., .... I love Christmas in New Mexico
  7. lying in bed late at night with the windows open and listening to the screech owls hoot back and forth
  8. Fall - The cottonwood trees turn a bright yellow and the entire valley looks like a scene from The Lord of The Rings™
  9. Spring - The Russian Olives fill the valley with their sweet aroma. It lasts for weeks. (If you have allergies this will not be a happy moment for you)

It was sept 20th 2009, he came a week early which worked out well because my husband was in crown court on the 21st and was looking at jail this meant he got to see him which he didn't think he would, and this was my happiest day because he was my first grandchild and I got to see him with his grandad which was very emotional for all of us.
