This is one episode old.
There was a new one tonight, but it's not up yet.
Post it if you see it, or I will if I do.

John Stewart was given control of the super PAC, and therefore millions of dollars in donated campaign money. :D :D :D :D :D :D

And Colbert is already at %5 in the primaries, before even trying. :D :D :D :D :D

He should run for president

and be Vice President to Ron Paulo

I'd love to rock a Paul / Colbert 2012 sticker on my vehicle ;).

id vote him than any other if i was american the whole political landscape is a farce over there real good comedy

Didn't he do this exact same thing last year and they ruled him ineligible?

I can't speak for Stephen's intentions, but I get the feeling that he's doing all this work around creating a Super PAC to make a point about how the rich can easily corrupt the American political system, and modern democracy is a big joke. So I don't think it matters to him if he wins, just that he creates a stir.

Yep, It's all about the citizens united decision.

Colbert didn't get his name on the South Carolina R primary ballot before the deadline - and I'm not 100% certain - but I dont think SC allows write-ins on the Republican presidential primary. If I'm right, Colbert's bid is over before it began... Not that it's a serious bid anyway. I'll be watching though, monday-thursday at 8:30. :)

I'm not sure what happened.
But yes he ran before, but had no PAC and no money.

This time he is starting with %5 of the votes, and millions of dollars.

Even if he doesn't think he will win, he can win.

I hope he carries that satire right into the oval office. He could do as good of a job as any of the real candidates. Probably better.

The sad thing is, he's not a real choice. He is simply performing.

He is a real choice.

He is preforming, but his campaign is not going to be the same as his performance.
The shows are only 30 minutes long, he's out doing super PAC stuff ALL THE TIME.
