There's been an idea bandied about concerning a forum of this nature. Growers with a grievance or desire to prove each other wrong can face off to see who can get the best yield.

Especially you masters... I'd turn on, tune in everyday to keep tabs on a battle. Maybe you could have cfl's v hps, mh v hps etc. The connotations are limitless.

on one hand this sound like a really cool idea,,, on the other it seems like it could turn into an e-drama fest. but either way it could be fun. and who knows it may turnout to be the best thing since sliced bread. theres not just a whole lota stuff out there that will make you try harder than being provein wrong.
to me the worse part about growing is the time it takes to know if what your doing is really worth the time to do it. a forum where say 4 growers can grow the exact same strain under different conditions would be awsome. save years of trying to see what works. thats thing about growing pot that needs the most improvement. there arent many head to head studies out there. a freakin truck load of personal opinions and lil fact to back it up. maybe this could help to bridge the gap alil bit.

My feelings exactly bigbad... From a learning point of view a forum like this would be excellent. Now all we need is for some of these master growers to compete against each other using different methods.

There shouldn't be any hurt pride unless two growers decide to grow exactly the same way, then there's going to be some fireworks... a lot of excuses too.

Could even organise some type of ranking system much like what we have already... but that could be changed to a popularity rank, the growers rank could be added beneath.

Shit, we'd all have to compete then, just to get those plusses. Maybe we could start with some dependent on the popularity pluses we have as quite often these are a reflection of that anyway. Take some figuring out, that's for sure.

I don't think anybody uses them because they are the most effective at growing bud...

i'm thinking different goals. unless the strains are exactly the same you can't really judge on yield, length of cycles, growth styles........ this could be really sloppy or with some good thought and planning.........

maybe "the most productive method". or "simplest". "most advanced". "most outrages". i don't know i'm starting to drift.
