Zimbabwe has $217 in the bank. No, I didn't miss any zeros.

Pardon me if this has been said. But, I think the USA has not a penny of our own money in the bank. Debts and Deficits beyond the keen of mortal men.

The main point here is Credit. We have A- Credit. Zim has none.

People keep stating that we invade countries for their oil, gold, whatever resources. I have yet to find one source of proof of these allegations.

We dumped over 1 trillion dollars into Iraq and what did it get us? Oh yeah, OPEC jerks our chain every time it looks like the economy is getting better...

Do you think if you just keep repeating lies people will believe them? Oh wait...

Please at least give the French the praise they deserve. ~

France has said its military will leave once the Islamists are defeated and Mali is returned to stability, with the aid of an African force.

But many Diabaly residents say they don't want them to go. "I hope that the French stay for eternity. If they leave, I will leave," said Alou Gindou, a 46-year-old driver. "If it were not for the French, we would not be sitting here today."

Many residents waved and roadside boutiques flew the France's tricolor flag as a column of French armored personnel carriers, jeeps and supply trucks trundled north along the route from the capital Bamako to reinforce Diabaly on Thursday.

that doesnt matter cause n america we are hypocrites

our own choices dont matter as long as we can point the finger at another country, and go haha

i wonder what states are positive here by political party affiliation . . . . huh i seem to remember mostly red states were in debt as well as the largest welfare/handout communities per capita

They also tend to house far more military facilities.

You may be right about the welfare/handouts, but in terms of debt not so much:

http://www.governing.com/gov-data/economy-finance/state-debt-per-capita-figures.html

Connecticut has the most debt per capita, and they're as blue as it gets. But this really only gives part of the picture, since states with more debt are also usually more productive.

Zimbabwe scrapped their failed currency and "dollarized". However, the USD is not the exclusive currency, they use several. The country does not lack for resources and the currency problem is solved, at least temporarily. All that remains are political problems, with #1 being corruption.

........................and add 25trillion that the pentagon lost the day before 9/11 or have we forgotten :)
They never said they lost the money...sigh... they said they couldn't TRACK it, doesn't mean it disappeared. Can you tell me where that $5 bill you spent at McDonalds last week is right now? You suffer from the same problem as the pre 911 Pentagon does.
