  • 3 cups of flour
  • 3/4 cup of cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 3 sticks of butter (softened)
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • extra granulated sugar for topping the cookie dough

Frosting
  • 2 sticks of butter (softened)
  • 2 cups confectioners’ sugar (powdered sugar)
  • 1/2 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tablespoon of tonic water
