Hoping to get some answers on what you prefer. Start from seed(kinda expensive online but more choices) or start from clone( I pay $10 a piece{medical} no sexing or fucking up seeds altho i have killed clones by accident.) And what are your fav nutes and how strong is too strong (i.e 7-8-10)
*so seed or clone...and why.?
*nutes- price, strength?
'
* anything u experiment with i.e music molasses pee(lol chong 'peee on ur weed man') i play the rock station or as i lay dying. i find death metal weed has an intense medicated eyes feeling.
*oh and does anyone have one of those UFO led lights? whats the info and those being better
*and lastly LST and topping or leave it alone? or BOTH lst and toppin what do u do/prefer
Most of your questions lead to debatable answers, so really I'd just suggest researching the topics and forming your own opinion.
Clone or seed is really up to you. Clones are easier and fast imo, but typically you are severely limited on strain variety... Personally I use seed to get new genetics, and use clones from those seeds as my primary source of plants. There is no best, just different.
I have had good success with foxfarm nutes, but I also have had good results with fish emulsion, alaska brand bloom, and techniflora magical. I'm sure there are many many other brands that would work just as well. IMO it's more important that you use it properly and don't overuse nutes than what specific brand you use. On the subject of urine, molasses, etc, you have to understand that these are being used to trigger organic systems that wouldn't be present otherwise. For instance, the sugar in molasses is broken down by bacterias. Likewise with urine, in the end it gets converted to nitrate (a soluble form of nitrogen) and also deposits trace minerals. Anyway, with all these things if you don't really understand the process the odds of getting it right are greatly reduced, and just like with nutes, proper quantities are key.
Music has been shown to influence plant growth/development, however there has been far less data on particular types of noises. You're welcome to research it, but without a real experiment(s) it would be hard to say for sure that one type of music was better than another.
Can't speak to the UFO's. I can tell you that most LED's are going to produce the same light with half the wattage, so the 90w LED that tells you it is equivalent to a 400w hid is more realistically comparable to a 180-200w hid. There is also a huge range of LED components, thousands of them forming an incredible amount of permutations. The components ideal for horticulture are few, and there are a lot of companies making cheap crappy led's and marketing them to specialized applications where proper lights tend to cost a premium. Anyway, the UFO one's seem pretty popular, so I'd think they'd be decent, but as I said I have no experience with that brand. Hope the info helps though
On manipulating the plant, again, it's up to you. My experience has been that more people LST/top/fim than don't, by quite a bit. I also am a firm believer that, at least in my situation, topping and fimming increase yields. I suspect there is a bottleneck to this, so if light/oxygen/nutrients/etc aren't sufficient then the plant might not have enough energy to support more flowers. This would mean there is a good chance that the benefit to these manipulations are going to be situational.
I have only done a small amount of LST, so I can't speak as much to that. I fim and top all my plants though. Typically I will fim at 3-4 true nodes, and top if I think there is canopy space for more tops, and/or to control height (I run perpetual so stuff is stuck in veg till the flower spot opens up, which can lead to plants larger than we can handle, topping lets me keep things the right size).
