Youcannect gone, anywhere else to trade strains/cuttings etc?

Moved to benton county, and am having a devil of a time contacting local growers to get some new cuttings. Since youcannect is apparantly gone forever, is there any other way for me to obtain some local strains?

oh hell I was in the oregon section, ha I must be stoned.

what happened to yc?? it just fell off the face of the internet??? seems a lot of mj sites are going down or "doing maintenance". just feels weird.

Well that won't matter shortly, at least not in Oregon and Washington if the the two laws pass this November. The y got the one in Washington on the ballat and it looks like OCTA might make it to the Oregon ballat too. Then you will be able to walk to your local bud store and walk out smoking a bowl. Yes I do dream.

that would be a huge step forward, but unfortanutly those bud stores will cost more then street prices, they already have clubs here that sell, and they are all over priced. their is always BS that will come with new medical laws.

my dream is to grow pot with out a card and never be harassed by police again, then we would not need to go to a club to buy meds

You really need to read up on whats going on. Thats exactly what the cannabis tax act does. But no matter what laws are passed there will be people out there that can't grow and will need some where to get there meds. As far as price I can't see the price going up when it will be easily available and any one that can grow will.

im not a mod here sorry. i dont know why people keep thinking that.
and i do contribute maybe not on these forums as much but i help alot of other meds patients in need for free.

and Hillbilly, that would be awesome if that is the case, how ever theri is people right now that cant grow and every one and theri brothers, sisters, kid grows down here its every where and yet the clubs are still highly priced, why? its all about money, witch is ok but you can make more then enough charging alot less

you are correct its all about the money while they are getting away with it.. and no mc.P is not a mod for the medical section. i am just one of the 6 mods for the medical forum.

How goes it everyone..I was on this forum quite a bit a couple years ago when.I first started growing....awsome place to get good info...anyway...since then.I've been workin hard to establish a good rep and makin sure my quality is prime.... Youcannect was worthless anyway. The site was ran by morons & I'm glad it's gone. Had some fuzz on there too busting people taking reimbursement for meds. Like the shit is free to grow or something.

Got to http://freemygreen.com. You'll have to send the admin a copy of your ID and OMMP card and you'll get access to the private section for clones. Once you have access you can request for clones or give them out. Med requests are available too and also grower requests.

youcannect was run by complete morons, and there were allot of useless loafers and douche bags on there. But it was a decent place to get donations for excess meds, as is allowed by the existing state laws. People got busted..not getting donations for meds, but by selling weed to people without cards.

I still fail to understand why people can't get it through their thick smokey heads that OF COURSE weed in the dispensaries is going to cost more. And it should! Every uneducated hit fuck just wants weed to be completely legal..like "pooof", you cna grow it ,sell it, smoke it, etc. never going to happen people. Never, ever. Can anyone just by alcohol? No. Can anyone make beer/wine for their own use? Sure. Can they sell it, NO, because it could be dangerous to consumers. The same way that non-state inspected growers with tested buds could be selling shit full of pesticides and all sorts of nasties.

The state needs money to run the program, and that money comes from weed sales.

I still don't understand why people who are not medical professionals or state autherized record keepers in the ommp office and people I may or may not ever have a transaction with want to a copy of my picture identification with my address on it and my ommp information with my grow site address or just my card. You do know that your ommp card or paperwork is considered patient records? Do you really want to give this information to someone who runs a website? I sure as hell don't want it. What happens if they get raided for some stupid reason, oops now leo has your stuff.
The only people that need to see your card is the person you are face to face with. Just making a post online does not complete any sort of transaction or sale or anything else.
