You Got Busted. What Where You Doing Wrong?

I cannot emphasis enough, TELL KNOW ONE! Even a clue of what you are doing to the wrong person, and the gig is up. So if the are not part of the business cycle they should know nothing about it. My lawyer told me something "Its usually your "friends" not your enemies that get you busted".

If you can get away with not haveing a scale near the grow, its way better to not have it there.

Don't have firearms anywhere near your grow.

Don't have any kind of scanner, or two way radio near your grow.

In your vehicle, don't leave anything grow related.

I got busted with weed in my car because my dope is so DANK. lol
The cop said he could smell the weed walking up and I wasn't even smoking.
It was in my trunk...
Got it knocked down to a paraphernalia charge tho. Oh yeah!

Have you ever seen a police scanner? Allowed you to listen to the calls going across the police bands so you could have forewarning that they were coming to kick in your door. They are really worthless now with the extensive use of cell phones and locked police only bands that broadcast basically nothing now. Still if they think you are watching them then they will try to get you with more. Also, 2 way radios give them the impression there is another person involved, possibly even increasing the chance of a "organized crime" charge.

ahhhhh makes sense now. Be careful with anything you have on your cellphone to I was arrested and interrogated once (completely wrongfully) and somehow they knew I had a alligator which is illegal in my area. Only possibility I could figure was pics on my phone.

So do you think its safe to post grow pics online?? I personally would never post anything online, or download any such info on my computer.

put a lock on your phones... no dumb cop is gonna be able to hack a password protected phone, and i doubt there gonna send it for computer forensics unless your facing some HUGE charges

Dont get followed home from the grow store. You risk getting broken into and heated out. Cops come when a BnE is in progress. Just stay low key and dont heat your self out.

order stuff online and send it to a friends house who is not growing....that way you dont need to worry about bieng followed....and if you promis your buddy some fresh nugget he will be happy too so its a win (your friend), win(you), lose(the police) situation,hopefully .....remember nothing is fullproof

A good solid locked door and frame or completely hidden grow room is also a good idea, slows down anyone who is B&E and doesn't know your area well. But as said before, watch your friends.

always delete your text messages to..if you get popped sometimes cops like to look through your phone and trust me even if you tell them NO some of em will still do it..i almost got a felony drug charge over texts but i fought it and got proven innocent by a jury

they can get a subpoena for the text messages quick. they can have them before the end of the business day.

proven innocent by a jury. you proved yourself innocent in front of a jury. words are everything in the courtroom.


i know a bunch of people that were caught buying small amounts off under cover cops, happened to me once, got roughed up, they 'confiscated' my money and let me off with a warning b/c i had no priors...that technique doesn't deter drug use... it just increases arrests... oh well....


i also know a lot of people caught smoking in parks, in the car, at parties, blah blah blah....

yea i bet..there was no need to get a subpoena in my case cuz they just took my shit right away and went through it..i told them "wtf let me get my phone" and they just kept saying calm down lol then once they saw a few texts decided it was evidence..took 4-6months then filled charges and took me to trial

regardless of your lock, the police have a device to download your contact list, gps history, text message history, email and more.... not debating constitutionality here, just informing that your post is wrong. It's a simple device that many cops have in their cruiser.
