this article is humorous to read ... I find it funny people can even think like this.

Now instead of LP put BM in its place.
Yeup... the BM!
Who would buy off of an LP, be registered as a POT SMOKER after it's been decriminalized or made legal? Quaduple LP sales??

Cannabis dispensaries crackdown could benefit licensed providers, says M Partners

M Partners analyst Daniel Pearlstein said authorities have been hesitant to act against cannabis dispensaries in the past, but with Marijuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR) in place, that could change.

A Health Canada crackdown on cannabis dispensaries could quadruple the number of people who use licensed producers, says M Partners analyst Daniel Pearlstein.

Last week, Health Canada sent warning letters to 13 illegal cannabis dispensaries and compassion clubs in Western Canada. The agency required these establishments to “immediately suspend all activities with controlled substances within 30 days” or risk RCMP enforcement. The warning letter said the owners of these businesses face a possible $5-million fine and up to two years in prison.

There are currently more than a hundred pot dispensers in Vancouver alone, some with as many as 10,000 members.

Pearlstein says that if Health Canada carries through with its threat it could send these users scrambling to licensed producers such as Tweed Marijuana (TSXV:TWD).

“We believe that there are approximately 100,000 patients loyal to dispensaries right now and that most would migrate over to the MMPR if the crackdown spread to all dispensaries, representing a five fold increase in the size of the market (there are ~25,000 MMPR enrolled),” said Pearlstein. “Steering patients away from dispensaries and towards LPs is not only positive for the MMPR but may also help to diminish reliance on the black market. In a survey taken in the US, early data shows that the majority of cannabis users in states where legal dispensaries operate obtain cannabis through legal means while just 17% rely on the black market.”

Pearlstein said authorities have been hesitant to act against cannabis dispensaries in the past, but with Marijuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR) in place, the market could fast shift to one that sees only legal licensed dispensaries sell legal cannabis sourced directly from licensed producers.

Wow - Greed sure is the main driving force with the NeoCons & the Lps.
Husband was once friends with someone ( heavy emphasis on WAS) who actually worked with HC to set up their whole LP programme and now this dirtbag has an application in to become an LP and greed is his main incentive - in fact, greed has been the driving force in just about everything he does.
He's another of the dirtbags who want us to turn to them for our meds.

I have an analysis. If LP dropped their prices to $4 per gram for any strain tomorrow they would gain a monster number of new customers over night. Now we all know they can't do that as it would look pretty bad to have to raise prices from $4 to $12+ per gram is weed became legal.

if they dropped prices to what they should be... they might do better.
The added cost of the LP is what makes it impossible for patients to afford.

Gee am I the only one who saw forced buying from LP's in the cards ???
Home grows are the only thing in the minds of these greed bag pieces of shit from hitting the jack pot. I knew these cunts ( LP's ) would try to get rid of dispensaries.
NEXT IS YOUR HOME GROW !!!
If you support LP's you need a smack.
Forced fleecing of sick people.
BOYCOTT or sell your soul to the cons and stevo and bono
