Hi Folks,

This thread is about yield, like the title says. Indoors what is your yield per 1kw.
I think this thread could be highly instructive as to what we might all be striving for.

Personally, I never did all that well, never got 1gm/watt SE HID, got somewhat close though. Curious what experienced growers here like @bigmanc get with 1kw DE? This is 1kw DE by itself in a room not a DE surrounded by 10 other DE fixtures lol.

With LED I seem to be doing great but don't have cut and dried bud to say yet. I am guessing anywhere from 1.2-1.5 gm/watt.

i run a perpetual in a 4x7 room, under a 600 and a 400 watt hps, both in cool tubes. i harvest a plant every 10 days or so, and depending on the strain, i can get anywhere from 3.5 to 8 oz, but i would guess the average is about 5 oz, so i'm basically pulling between a half and a pound every month...call it 3/4 average. so 9 lbs a year. i'm not sure what that comes to in grams per watt. 2.9 for the monthly total? did i do that math right?

umm nope, sorry boss. 0.336gm/w per month wrong denominator division. Thanks for contributing man, in a perpetual situation like yours I am too stoned to calculate the what-hizznits. However I will tell you I expect 3+lbs from 1.1kw 5 times a year at 15+lbs/year. 15*448=6720 grams per year. So you could have 9*448=4032 grams per year at 1kw or for an extra 100 watts (10%) you could have 60% more. QB boards.

This is a forward projection. So don't quote me on it. But I do believe these QB boards are some other kind of ALIEN technology...

I grow 30 plants. I am growing some varieties to get it to 6 weeks and 3 weeks veg, rounding out 5 yields per year, I hope. Anyways QB all the way.

Cool, I did not have the ceiling height for DE so I went with QB. So glad I upgraded from my SE HIDs.
