Yield

Has anyone else flowered with just CFL's? Thats what I'm doing because I can't drop $150 on fucking light. Anybody know that ratio of yield per watt for CFL's? I know with the HPS and HID lights you get like .5/1G per watt. What about CFL's? I just found out my bitches were female and they're on the move. I know there is no def way of telling how much I will yield, but I just want to get an idea.

i found mine at a home depot....75$ for a 150 w hps security light ...and when i went to cashier to pay, it was on sale for 60$,extra bonus, if you shop around but if not you just have to use a few more cfl's to get good light coverage, using the 2700k for flowering of course.

get as many CFL bulbs around the plant as you can. the more you get in there the better. I use 3 t8 ballasts with a veg and flowering bulb in each, and I have 6 48w bulbs and I wish I would have put in more.

Check craigslist in your area, I picke dup some 400w HPS sets for $75 a piece.
