i have grown 5 seedsman skunk 1 and 2 seedsman White widow.my plants are 42.days of flowering . flowering time is 8 weeks for WW and 9 weeks for skunk 1 according to the breeder ( seedsman )

but although my plants 42.days of flowering, yield is not good . i am analyzing diaries of other growers but their plants bigger than mine. i grow in organic compost and of course i compare my plants other organic growers' plants .

do you have any experience with seedsman original skunk 1 and WW and about their final yield ?
it is my first grow and i dont know,it may be my mistake, not seedsman strains.
any idea ?

Its most likely your growing conditions. There are so many different possibilities of what could be wrong. Keep growing and learning and you'll eventually get dialed in.

major factors: a)bucket size- the whole thing rests on the size and health of the root system.I'm using 18 gal. bins. 5 gal. buckets do not belong outside! b)temps- this is usually a winter issue, but plants go into stasis if it's too cold. c)light- weed needs INTENSE light to get the tightest buds; the less light, the fluffier they'll be. d)soil nutes- you've got compost, great!- but what's in it? or NOT in it?- a good comparison would be subcool's 'super soil'(which would be better (imo)cooked in a biodynamic compost pile). e)water- over watering, underwatering, bad water? this one is perhaps more critical in hydro growing.

I just harvested Seedsman Skunk #1 and also found it to be a low yielder. I grow under 150 watt HPS, and can ususally get at least a couple oz per plant, but with the skunk I got just 0.7 oz. This was from 1 feminized seed, so I might have just gotten a runt. Also, I didn't train or scrog (which I normally do) because this was my first skunk grow and I wanted to see its natural growth characteristics.

I'm not giving up though! The sweet berry taste and aroma are top notch, and I think I can do better on yield with a scrog.

Also, I just grew Seedsman's Nemesis, and it was a big producer (and a big stinker:hump:). It's drying now, so I haven't weighed it, but I'm expecting at least 1.5 oz. So Seedsman's genetics seem good.
