yield and overcrowding

i was just wondering i no theres many factors which effect yield but in a case where ive seen a closet grow with 600w hps; 1 plant yield 16 ounces and no nutes im pretty sure, i was wondering if say i had 6 plants in there would that get more of a yield then say 3 plants as this 1 plant grew very big, is it more of a case of more room more yield or more plants more yield, or is this just a hard question to answer? thanks for any help which will be offered

there are manyy factor just give your ladies the best conditions, with lots of light and you'll do fine. under a 600 i would grow 3-4 decent sized girls. but that's just me.

if you are going to do 6 plants do SOG

There are a lot of variables to your question, but I have seen a closet grow (two 600w MH veg/HPS flower) in scrog with 20 WW ladies that yielded 2.2 lb cured bud. It was an organic grow using conditioned water. The girls didn't seem to mind the crowding & it ended up being a chest high solid carpet of sticky bud.
Its really not that difficult.

I did not mean to imply that the grow I was referencing was nute free - quite the contrary. Super soil was used with Guano top dressing and molasses.
