Yet another Aerogarden. Purple X Trainwreck

well i'm new to this forum, and new to growing in general. i have only grown once in soil before this, and want to try aero/hydro instead.
I let the three feminized seeds germinate for about 48-72 hours using the paper towel method and planted them today. Its not really worth posting pics yet, but the taproots doubled in size in less than 24 hours already.

I will be switching to a 430 watt hps for the flower cycle. so far i brought the ph down to around 5.75. i added a few drops of super thrive and two AG small tabs for now. I have a pure blend pro organic starter pack i will use for nutrients later. and also a fish tank bubbler/stone.

does this sound right so far or what else should i do?
should i leave the lights on for 24 hours or will that over water them?
should i run 24 hours until they sprout and then 16/8?
any input would be great.

thanks guys!

i got them from a friend who got them from a Cali med shop.

i have read that the bud quality of feminized seeds may not be as potent as regular is this true?

ill post some pics tomorrow so u guys can make sure everything looks right.

I am also fairly new to this and it is my first time using the AG. I have been reading a lot of the other AG threads and found that adding any nutes right away can cause more trouble than good. Alot of people end up with nute burn if they do any nutes before the plant gets to the fourth node. Then they say to only give it 1 tab per week instead of the suggested 2. This only what I have read and am basically talking out of my ass so don't think I am trying to be a pro. Check out my journal and let me know about my progress along the way. I'm a noob and can use any help. Good luck!bongsmilie

i planted them yesterday morning so heres day 2 pics. i still have the biodomes and paper surroundings on i just took them off for the picture. should i still ahve them on?

plant 1 got messed up and didnt get any water for about 4 hours. it dried up pretty bad, but its coming back to life.

plant 2 is a little slower than plant 3

plant 3 : is that purple nute burn or is that natural?

You should get a figure 8 cord so you can hook the light up to a timer, and iv also heard of nutes too early is not a good idea, should wait like 5 days after germ, fill to the brim of the AG, not the fill to here, they will drink a shit load of water when you flower, and is that soil? thought the Ag had sponges?

should skimp on the aerogarden and grab a hempy bucket IMO!!

i had the aerogarden pro and it blew dick, harvested like 3 grams but thats prob cause i wasnt checking the PPM or the PH and just adding in the tablets which they don't send enough of

The aerogarden is joke. Check out stinkbud's thread about harvesting a pound every 3 weeks, he includes good schematics on how to build a proper aero system.

i obviously took into consideration that a five gallon bucket's root system will pwn a 3.5 quart resevoir's. but for space saving reasons im going to use it once or twice and then give it to my mom so she can grow her some strawberries lol.

idk whats uo with everyone sayin the same thing over and over again about the AG, people are not stupid, we all kno you can get a better set up but the Ag is more convenient, people dont look into the Ag and expect a massive yeild, when i start using mine, its mostly personal, im not in the situation for a bigger set up, plus mine was free but still, were all aware of the other possibilities:peace:

Should i support this somehow or just let nature run its course?

also i have heard someone mention close to 100% humidity is good. if so i have a humidifier that i could put in the closet. any ideas?

it looks like it already has nute burn, you need to wait like 5 days after germination to start nutes, if not AG nutes, 1/2 strength of whatever you use,
