After reading answers to the question when should I flush ,where everyone told me not to flush ,I decided to go ahead and flush anyway ... Sorry :(
It is a very contraversial issu, and I respect everyones opinion ,but since I'm new to growing ,I'm just not willing to take a chance on my first crop . I will be looking for more datas on the subject ,I think it's important .

Now I would like to know if I should wait till half the pistils turn brown of little longer before flushing ?
I don't plan on flushing for two weeks though ,5 to 7 day with Florakleen should do the trick ?
Anyone courageous enough to help me here ... I won't change my idea so don't tell me not to flush ,please .
When will it be time ( by looking at the pistils and trich ) ???

Thank you !

Boris

pistils? wtf? where do you get this from? its the trichomes man, just the trichomes. while there are other tell tale sign of maturation
the fruit is all that matters, look at the active ingredient within the trichome and decide how degraded you want it to be when you harvest, thats it.
if you grow organic , like outdoors, no worries of flush, like outdoors.
if you grow with salts follow the directions, I know they say to taper the nutes to water at the end anyways right? so what gives? thats called flushing...voila!!!

thats silly, you should be feeding water if those trichs are turning cloudy now. nobody can tell how your room is loved, when things will mature, only you. you know what the breeder says, you contrl the room. feed water only when they cloud, till they cloud to amber then harvest

In my hydro, I watch the trichomes and as soon as I see the first few golden or amber trichomes I flush for 5-7 days and chop... 10+ years doing this and always turns out perfect.

What do you plan to achieve with a "flush" ?

I flushed today.

It was brown so I flushed it down.

Previous to that, it was yellow, so I let it mellow

Just catching this thread and wanted to jump in with a question: do you flush all 15gal of ph water through your media at the same time or spread it out over the week? 3x the amount of a 5gal pot is 15gal so can I flush 5 on Monday 5 on Wednesday in 5 on Friday?

Would this be regarded as a normal way to flush your plants?
I have always just gave them water instead of nutrients the last few weeks as if I was still feeding them?
Dialing back the nutrients around week 7
And I've never seen or tasted a problem?
