Yep, noob plant destroyer .. have i burnt them?

Ok the other day I check my friend, and the top is going orange and dry(dead?).
I have it very close to the cfls as recommended but never touching. I have 2 x 130w CFL in a 2mx1x1 tent with a 6 inch inline fan. (Was ducting in but now ducting out with passive intake). I thought it was too big for the pot and when I transplanted it, the soil was seriously rock hard, dry as Fuck even tho I water nearly everyday, and that's when I thought maybe this way my problem? Or nutes but I have been giving it pretty regular light rinses of 1/2 nutes and organic seaweed extract. Plant was doing good when I just left it the Fuck alone, I didn't even have a fan for the first 6 weeks.

Anyway its in a big pot now with some fresh soil and I've moved the light a bit away..

Any ideas wtf is going on with my baby?

it'll be fine. the burnt spots wont heal but the plant will keep growing np.

Yeah, def light burn. I had a girl burn some fan leaves on the light last harvest. Looks exactly the same. I don't LST but it looks pretty interesting, might try it one day.

Thanks for the replies, ill be sure to keep the light a bit higher up from now on.

I am a first timer and I decided to try LST.
Within a week it was nearly a third bigger and doubled in 2 weeks.
I recommend it, I also fimmed but I didn't top it..
I am thinking about topping it but it had heaps of bushy tight nodes with multiple leaders so I don't think o have to. Not my first time round anyway.

Also keep a fan blowing at your canopy level. This keeps hot spots from building up and creating these localized burns.

Your plant will be fine, just back off the light and keep plenty of fresh air moving around it.

LST is easy, just makes the plant spread out. And if you fimmed it, you did top it, just a variation.

Ahh yeah! The importance of a standard fan haha. Why did I spend hundred of dollars on fancy gear and not even get a $10 fan. Haha. Thanks I will get one today.

Ok dimming is topping variation, I can see at least 2-4 New shoots coming from where I fimmed. I guess it works.
