Yellowing Leaves in my garden

My wonderful all female garden is showing some problems.The plants were started on 1st April in pots,transplanted to garden 1st May. All well until I stupidly (I suspect) added some nitro fertilizer. As the grow area is on a slight incline I think the fertilizer washed to the lowest point thus damaging the plant pictured. They are in soil with the addition of a horse manure/soil mixture approx 25% Horsedung.No other fertilizers are used and the plants are watered daily in the hot weather we have in these parts.Can anyone help ? I have trawled so many forums that I got a headache !

dude, I had the same problem other than mine were on flat ground, but mine was a nitrogen deficiency. I was using floranova and it' wasn't supplying enough nitrogen. I then switch to some MG for tomatoes which is high in nitrogen and mine are doing great now..... someone correct me if I'm wrong in saying this.

Would you think that fish emulsion/oil might do the trick ? Will almost certainly be able to get something that will do what your "MG" did !

yeah, fish emulsions are high in nitrogen too., I studied your pics real good and it's the same thing mine were doing, they looked identical. it stopped the leaves from turning completely yellow and the other leaves are nice and green just the way they're suppose to look. unfortunatly, the ones that yellowed out will never come back and probably shrivel up and fall off, but I'm back on track and looking gooooood!

one more thing I might add is that I started off using Alaska fish emulsion and the fucking racoons were digging thru my plots looking for fish carcasses and was almost digging my plants out of the ground, that's when my hydro dealer told me to use floranova at a rate the soil could adapt to for growing. coons didn't mees with that shit, but not enough NPK for soil!

Real good to get info from another "outsider"....and if I think back to last year had the same problem and tried everything except more Nitro ! One actually turned bright purple !Also just realised that the plants further up the hill are just about OK as suspect they got more manure mix at that end. Thanx again !

Yes...guilty, but judging by the scale in kettle and the john not too hard...and it comes from a mountain spring not too far away !

I'm on well water and the ph is almost perfect for weed

Thanx Space Angel, just visiting a friend for some fish sauce and he uses the same water and has no problems, tho he is in pots whilst I am in a trench.Chewed it over with him, he urged caution and said I should cut out the dead and dying leaves and see what happens next ! I do not like that idea, easy when they aint your plants ! So after looking at zillions of pics and what you said about my pics, I think you must be right, I thought so all along.Also last year I had one turn purple at flowering time which I think is also a sign of N deficiency ! So will give them a fish supper this evening.I am intending to give them one hit now and one in a week to ten days if they still need it.Thanx very much again for your help.

PS.Do you think that I will have to add a fert (fishemulsion, or whatever) for longer....suppose wait and see !
