Yellowing/fading and rust spots on lower leaves - can't match symptoms with pictures

Hi everyone,

This is my first time grow of 2 plants (strain apollo XX) and I've been reading off of Ed Rosenthal's grower's guide and Jorge Cervantes' Marijuana Horticulture. I've had a few issues with heat stress and nutrient toxicity but each time I think I caught them early enough that the plant wasn't affected too much by it.

In the past 1-2 weeks the lower leaves on the plants have started to fade and rust spots have appeared in the past 2 days on a few of the leaves. I've tried matching them with problems in Rosenthal's Marijuana Garden Saver but I none of the descriptions seem to match the symptoms. The plants are currently 6 week old.

Does anyone have an idea of what might be going on? Pics are below.

• I've thought it might be nitrogen/magnesium deficiency but the symptoms don't match very much.
• The plants live in a tent around 73F during daytime, 55% RH and a constant gentle breeze.
• For watering, I've been waiting till the top 1-2 inches are actually dry before watering and each time watering until the soil is completely saturated and water comes out the bottom (which is then dumped).
• For nutrients I'm using general organics and I try not to overdo it and actually give them 1/2-3/4 the recommended dose every 1.5 weeks or so. Growth seems to still be pretty fast

if it comes from the bottom its nitrogen deficiency .. N is mobile so plants will relocate it from bottom to top
but in your case i think its more old leaves dying .. because nex growth are pretty dark green ..
so no deficiency imo .. probably some overwatering after the repoting but its past ..
keep doing the plant is nice
just chop these useless leaves

Over watering probably. you need to gauge your water so that the plants drinks all of it before nighttime. Then, you rewater everyday 2-4 hours after lights turned on. The worst thing to do is to have a moist soil went lights turn off for the night
