yellowing dropping tips on new growth

Indoor grow under 126 watts of cfl, temp is around 73 to 76 degrees always, havent watered in 6 days due to signs of over watering, now tonight I noticed the highest new growth is yellowing as well as some of the lower tips, its very subtle and just started within 24 hours. Lights were within 4 Inches, but with my hand under there it didnt feel too hot. Growing medium is half miracle grow half perlite and a sprinke of grow kashi.

The more you water, the more nutrients are released in the MG. So you overwatered and now you are getting nute burn basically. Water it just enough for a couple days.

I wondered about that but it was worrying to see the burn only prominent on the newest growth. Any reason for that?

So. It hasnt been watered in 6 days now and its getting very dry and light. Should I water or will that make things worse?

Let her dry out 75% everytime. what size pot?

Its a 3 gallon dirt pot, which is fabric and I guess drains better? Its bone dry down about 2 nuckles. But this is my first grow and im more worried about over watering than under.

I count when I water. Considering your conditions (light etc), I'd give it a 2 count. Count 1, 2 when watering. When the plant gets bigger raise the count to 3 and so on. Do you have a fan on it? does it blow directly on the plant or ocsillates?

So only water for 2 seconds? And yes a fan oscillates past it 24/7

yes 2 seconds....check it tomorrow and see if shes still wet or damp...if this plant gets any more mg damage I would transplant it. But many have grown fine with mg. If it can handle it all the way then its going to be a heavy eater But lets try to water light so you dont release alot of nutes

Hey I'm noticing another issue. The growth that had the yellowing tips now has begun to get better but the same leaves are now clawing under and I started to notice a bit of buildup on the side of my dirt pot that seems kinda salty?
