dont think it will curse any bigger problems ...
just make a smaller plants .. then if you have done it two weeks ago .. but I would do it .. I did similar .. later in flowering .. week 2-3

as you can see I did also try to stress it as littel as possible .. so I just cut the bottom out of the old pot and gave it a half full smaller pot to continue its grow .. worked .. kind a .. other plant yield more .. but I bet it would have been even worse with out ...
but in your case I wouldn't worry to much .. just do it now .. and do a gentle reporting .. do a littel research .. but in general
make sure you have the new pot ready with new soil in it (enough to make the old top soil the new top soil aswell)
use the old pot to make a hole in the new soil in the bigger pot .. make sure its moist (I use a spray in between I add soil with a drop of root power/kelp)
then your ready .. do it fast but carefully .. put your hand flat on the soil .. with the steam in between your fingers (like a big fat joint)
and tip it over ..
if it dont let go right away try to pat on the bottom with your free flat hand a few times .. if it still dont let go .. tip it back over and use a butter knife to loosen the roots from the pots side all around .. and repeat it all again ..
then moist the old rootball/soil and "drop" it in the new pot .. and add soil around the edges .. water it slowly till you see run off ..
make sure the soil you get have a PH for weed (between 6 and 7) a lot of cheap "Supermarket" soil is low (under 6) and not suited for weed ..
use them bucks on a good Organic soil and if possible with some Perlit in it .. if you cant get perlit use lega nuts or coco to make the soil light (use around 30% and 70% soil)
and yes a 5 gallon would be ok I guess .. how big is the one you have it in now ? go with sumthing twice as big ..
about CLFs .. get em in 2700K and as high Watt as possible .. 23W or 35W is them most use I guess .. beside them big once made for growing (100-300W)
do you use Y-splits ?
