yellow stripes cob problem?

So I'm getting these yellow stripes on a lot of my fan leaves and new growth is kinda yellow. I tried upping cal mag and it seemed to help a little but I have this ring of yellow across a lot of the fan leaves like shown in the picture that won't go away (had some spots that looked like calcium deficiency and now that's completely gone at least). Could this be caused by my cob spectrum? 200w vero 29 3500k with two platinum p150's in veg mode (blue and red diodes mostly). My clones of the same plant in my veg tent under a mars 300 have barely a little yellow on a fan leaf edge or two but not nearly as much and new new growth is not yellow at all. This is in a coco coir soilless mix called botanicare slacker aeration. pH at 5.8-6.2. Guess I should mention the leaves also seem to have thick stems with heavy ridged leaves that seem to fold up easily because of that thick stem.

The yellowing and stripes seems consistent with a magnesium deficiency right? I ordered some epsom salt to test that but I also just put it in flower so I wasn't sure if its a good idea to use now. Has anyone else seen this problem?

when i had problems with this it was too much light and too high EC. you cant really jam too hard on your plants with high-flux LEDs unless your root system is developed enough and feed em

i use 6" RW cubes and now i keep them under 400 ppfd (24 hrs) until i see a good amount of roots out the bottom then i can jam on them harder and they blow up

do your tops look like the first pic in this post:

those look lime green. Mine are kinda rough (yours look soft) and have a yellow tint. I guess it could be too much light but I had the light turned down to 100 watts when it first appeared and wasn't giving cal mag at that point. I started giving it calmag and upping the veg nutes as well up to about 2 ec. Now that I'm in flower (3 days in only) I gave it a reduced strength mixed veg/bloom nutes with a bit less calmag. Gonna keep that up til flowers show then up bloom nutes and use some boosters as well. I was actually gonna turn up the light too....

What I think is going on is that these cobs may cause the plant to use more mg, so I'm hoping epsom salt will help but I may turn down the lights as well. I'll maybe try one feeding every 4 or so with epsom salt and no cal mag and the other times with cal mag. Again the problem appeared first when light was lower and I wasn't giving cal mag...

I do have to admit that I may have transplanted into a 5 gallon too soon though. They were in a 1 gallon and the roots were very well developed coming out the bottom and surrounding all the sides but I haven't seen them coming out of the 5 gallon smart pot theyre in now. Hopefully flowering will force the roots to grow in the next 2 weeks. I read that flowering does cause roots to explode is that right?
