Yellow "mold"?

Hey guys, Completely green to growing marijuana and indoors. I started these seeds and all took and all was going well. I found one of the plants had a yello type of "mold" or fungus on top of the surface of the soil. It is not on the plant. I noticed it and removed it from the rest. It has been 2 days and thankfully have not seen it spread elsewhere.

Soil is Fox Farm Ocean Forest and I have been taking them outside during the daylight while my tent was on order. They now stay in the tent now that it is set up.

Just wondering what it was and if I should be concerned with it spreading to my other plants and if there was any treatment for it. Also if I should kill the plant or just re pot it and put it back in the tent?

Thank you in advanced.

Well to start you're keeping the soil too wet by overwatering. You don't have to water everyday which is a frequent issue with new growers. Let that soil dry out some before watering.

Thanks, yeah it’s the container I started these seeds in they hold onto water more than the others. I ran out of my normal ones. The rest are still fine a few days after the fact.

Newbie here as well, but here's what I've done over the last week starting my seedlings and they seem to be really happy. I water with a pump spray and make it a light mist, and literally water around the sprout never really touching it. Im finding by doing this, it doesn't make it all soggy etc. Then I let it dry out to almost a crunchy/fairly dried out feel, and repeat. Good luck.
