Yellow Leaves

Hi,

I tried figuring this out myself, but I don't want to make the situation worse. The leaves on 3 of my plants are turning completely yellow. I am not watering until the 5 gallon fabric container is light. She drinks a lot of water, so I am having to water about every 3 to 4 days.

I think its under watering. Its not good to let your plants dry out completely. The plants are dropping the big fan leaves because there is not enough water to support them. You can see there is plenty of food in the leaves from the dark green. If its not water stress you have a root problem/ you have either burned the root hairs from drying them out, or you might have root aphids or fungus gnats.

I let them get really dry, before I water them. @chex1111

Leaves droop for a variety of reasons. However the stems holding his leaves are not drooping or bent. It’s not underwatering in this case.

Because he watered again before the picture was taken. I bet those leaves drooped before, but that leads to the good question- plantin did you let them dry out to the point of wilting?

In the picture I didn't let them wilt before watering.

I mean is the plant drying out to the point it wilts? Cause that you don't want. Air is good especially with peat based mixes, but too dry or too wet is not what you want.
