Rollitup Community:
I am in my darkest hour here, very frustrated and discouraged. I worked so hard on my room and invested a solid amount of capital in order to make my dream a reality. I have been a grower for years, but this is my first 4k setup. I will let the pictures speak for themselves as far as the problem is concerned but a quick backround as to what is happening. The plants veg fine (Under T5) and start growing fine under the HID’s during week 1 of flowering. At the middle of week 2 the plants start to develop the symptoms in the pictures and they continually get worse. This is my third cycle in a row where this has happened! I have torn the room apart, bleached everything multiple times. I have switched strains, clones and have had this problem consistently. I have used soil, coco, and now rockwoll with the same problem persisting. PLEASE HELP!

Strain: GDP

Medium: 6” Grodan Rockwoll with coco mat underneath

Lighting:
(4) Lumatek Digital 1000watt HPS w/ Hortilux bulbs

Nutrients: (Flower)
GH 3 Part + Liquid Koolbloom
Purple Maxx (Have NOT used)
Gravity (Have NOT used)

GH ratio is as followed on the label, one tray is at 2-2-2. The other tray is 1-2-3. PPM’s are HIGH at 1300 – 1500 on average, I am constantly battling PPM and PH.

Nutreints: (Veg)
Great White (rooting hormone)
GH 3 Part

Water:
PPM’s are 60, I run my water through a Hydro Logic Tall Boy (R/O Pre Filter).

Feeding Schedule:
Lights come on at 7:00 PM
Flood at 7:00 PM (5 mins to flood the table, 15 mins to drain)
Flood at 1:00 AM

Environment:
80 degrees F (finishing construction, needing to run another 120 to get my AC going)
50% relative humidity
CO2 – 300PPM (not using my burner until I get this sorted out)
10” vortex ducting the lights
10” vortex cold air intake
12” vortex on a Can 150 for exaust

Reservoir:
55 gallon drum like used in the CAP ebb and grow system. I have 2 airstones in each reservoir agitating the solution 24hrs per day.

Nutreint Storage:
I store my nutes in the dark in a Rubbermaid shed outdoors where temperatures reach 40 low to potential 75 high.

Nutrient Mixing Technique:
I have a bypass on my 1000gph pump and run it until my water looks like a bubbling cauldron. I mix GH Brown first at full strength to 30 gallons, I let that mix then mix in the Green diluted in a 5 gallon bucket and pour it in, followed by the same procedure for the Pink. PH usually settles at 5.8 – 6.2

I cant get the pictures to upload so I put them on Photo Bucket here is the link

Hey bud I am a beginner the first mistake I made was not having a A/C. I got some clones because I thought I was ready, Put them in a room I thought was good and in 2 days everything was dead, granted I did leave them alone for to long but after I got the a/c and the humidity under control everybody's happy. that's all I know because it worked fro me.

After checking out your pics I ask How long did you veg them for? It seems tuff to try to flower plants that look weak t start off with. You said you have grown before, was it indoor or out? like I said I am new and I have just been following the direction exactly and so far so good, what I found out is you can not start with out the essentials and growing indoors means you have to create the proper environment first and air quality has got to be first. Good luck

bump. i'm having the same problem. but mine are freshly transplanted clones. i forgot what it means if they curl up or down at the tips. mine are curling up, and the big mama clone is swooping a little and what looks like burning at the tips. i hope it just means dehydration but i'm not sure right now. need to study 8-B
