I'm using a 400wat hps with a hortilux bulb. These girls are about a month and a week old. About to give them their first dose of nutrients since the soil I used for transplanting had nutes in it. I was told its a cal/mag issue but ive had many different remarks. I am using aluminum foil on my walls. Although they are white, wasnt sure if it was worth the risk or not (knew they created burn spots). I found a water source with perfect 6.5 PH'd water (safeway) so Im going to just fill up gallons of water there. I got some pics of the problem, tried to focus more on the leaves that are getting severely damaged. Also do you think its ok if I use tap water for my humidifier or will I want to use premium water on that as well? Also they seem to getting worse and the growth is severely stunted, I used to be able to see alot of growth everyday and now I see none. It's been one week today since I watered but the soil is still pretty moist, but I really wanna get them those nutes asap to see if it helps/fixes the problem. Let me know ideas and or thoughts!!! thanks everyone!!! Also how much longer till I switch to 12/12?

I tried getting the best pics I could that signify the problem. Please help asap, Im losing my babies :(

one of my plants have the exact same signs and from what ive read and seen it looks like overwatering. Also When you transplanted you might have put it in shock and the roots may not be absorbing the water.Add vitaman b1(superthrive) to help the problem and make sure the soil is almost dry at the root depth by using a mositure meter.Spotting sicknesses are a pain in the ass becuase one bad move can lead to many others problems and alot of the sicknesses look too much alike. For futrure refrence buy the jorge cervantes grow bible it will show you all the signs of problems and how to deal with it.Also it is best to use less intense light after transplant such as daylight cfls or florescents to encorage root development again. If your still gonna use the 400w Make sure your keeping the light more than 2 feet away from the plant.Hope this helps.

ive heard when the perlite starts to turn brown it means ur over watering...and the yellowsing of the leaves can be from over watering too...the lil spots i dunno wtf that is dude..a couple of mine a starting to do that too and my humidity was the same as urs..i put a humidifier in my rm a couple days ago and they seem to be more healty and shiney..if the leaves keep spooting i'll prob just clip them off..there on the bottoms fan leaves like urs too.

just looked at it again and its not mag/cal.be carefull about the feeding,if the plants is shocked the roots can only abosorb so much so i whould just give them 1/4 because the soil already had nutes in it.

I guarantee you its not overwatering... I water once a week... excessively but not frequently...

its deff over watered and the brown spots are magneseum deff
use a little epson salt and spray the leafs

is your water ph'ed? and you could be underwatering. but I doubt it. Superthrive works wonders.............

looks like its been in the dark for a week, it needs some more light, and the soil?
whats in it garden muck and vacumate?.
it looks ill.
id repot and put under 24/0 lite sced, and lay off the nutes.

400wat hps with hortilux bulb.. havent started nutes yet... flushing tonight with Ph'd water. and yes two fans.

its either overwatering or underwatering both shown the signs of droppy leaves.give'em a flush a see if it gets better.

how well does ur soil drain?...r u getting some water to drip out the bottoms of the pots when u water?!?....u want about 10% drainage every time u water!..thats what george cerventas says and it works for me!:joint::mrgreen::peace:

I guarantee you its not overwatering... I water once a week... excessively but not frequently...

Then it is underwatering....I need to water every other day, or they start looking like that. Are you telling us that even after you water them, they don't perk up the next day?

ur over watering and wat type of soil r u using and take off the aluminum foil off da root are probably drenched and aint feeding cuz ur over watering let the soil dry up and start over idk wat kinda soil ur using so idk wat to tell u about nutes next time u water use 2teaspoons of epsom salt per gallon its gonna take u a few weeks b4 u start seeing some change just keep an eye on the new growth
