These spots just poped up today only this one leaf has the spots at the moment. I use fox farm ocean forest soil and at the moment foxfarm grow big fert . My water ph is 5.8 temps r 70 degrees nice airfllow . I did some research and IMAG0258.jpgsaw it may be calcium deficiency but I'm not sure if anyone can help before it gets worse thank you.

samt thing happend to me when i stopped usint the Ca-Mg from gh veganics line... looks like your spot on.. i would concurr, now it wont go away the damage to that leaf is done , but you can rectify the problem and it will stop =) happy growing you dont have a grow thread??

So here is the deal Im away for work till Feb 1 and my gf is taking care of them how much worse can I expect this to get till I get home that's about 10 days. She keeps me updated with photos and such and she doesn't have a car so her going the 45 min to the store is out of the question I'm just hopeing it doesn't get much worse I'm gonna grab up on the ca mg fert right when I get home and start flowering unless they r so beat up that I have to rescue them but that one leaf is the worst thing that any of them have . Comon girls hold on hahaha

I've been kinda lucky myself when it comes to deficiencies. I use GH 3 part flora, and just assume they have the balance correct in their recipe. Normally I do 2 feedings and 1 plain water. If I see any deficiency at all, I skip the plain water and feed full again. Everything just seems to work out :p. I duno if I could handle dosing 1 specific nute for 1 deficiency, hope I was right and having to wait a week to see if I made the correct choice.

Also cal/mg is my favorite since I switched to RO water. It Phs my water perfect every time. I rarely even test my water anymore. I do seem to see a decent amount of apparent mg deficiency so I'll ip the dose on the cal/mg a bit, but that's e only nute I really adjust for specific probs. I really dint k ow what's in the 3 different colors exactly to be honest, so I just feed everything based on the instructions and growth phase every time regardless of deficiency, unless I see possible signs of burn. Even is cases where I may have over nutes, I feel like I get good warning in advance where maybe I get slight yellow tips and I can skip a feeding and avoid Amy real problems.

I also wouldn't worry about a leaf or 2, even my lushest healthiest looking girls seems to always have at least a couple fucked up looking leaves.

You know I follow the same criteria, I take advantage of the watering in between to take care of defs, Like yellow leaves on the bottom because of N or Mg. also it helps keeping PH at range as you're constantly "buffering the soil" and making the solubles elements more available, especially in the first month of flowering when plants like to get tricky and ask for more water anyways.. I just haven't found a nute line that allows me to follow an specific regiment, just gotta work with what I have.

Btw switch back to tap water and you'll find yourself reaching for the bottle of calmag as well from time to time.
