say you have a 7 clones that average 15 inches tall nodes are very close together with maximum bud sites under 1000 watt hps in 4x4 tent with co2 1450ppm getting fed hollands seceret 3 part nutrient and bloombastic all full strength. talkin the best possible conditions. any idea on what should yeild from that?

It all depends on canopy size, usually you will get "1/3 to 1 ounce per square foot of canopy" (a square foot is 12 inches by 12 inches). So if you have the best conditions then you will probably get 1 ounces or more per square foot of canopy. (according to Ed Rosenthal)

did i mention its an ebb and flow hydro setup wont that make a difference. so your saying that with a 4x4 table is only going to produce 1lb. i dont believe that. co2 and 1000watt hps water chilled rez the best ventalitation you can get. i was thinking closer to 2lb with 7 seeds and 7 nice clones.

Well I have no clue on what ur yield would be but I wanted to ask since ur talkin bout yield I've read on here others say they get 1g per watt on their grow is that sumptin that sounds legit to others, well as long as space permits I would imagine. Does anyone average their yield that way?

you cant guess yeilds....is your get 1/2 gram a watt your doing ok....you get 1 gram per watt your doing excellent.

4lbs easy! you ask what yield to expect but you give shit to anyone who says less than what you are hoping for. why even bother asking? 1lbs from a 4x4 tent is great, excellent job.

I would say 1/2 gram a watt you are doing excellent, 1gram per watt and you are a pro... You could reach your goal if your tent was not a tent, but a room, and maybe more like 6x6, then you could do a stadium grow (vertical)

seriously man, before you reach 2lbs in a 4x4 tent ... well whatever I want to see it if you do it. Good luck

anyway, my guess, if you got everything perfect like mentioned in the original post, 20 oz

ok i was just asking. the first hydro was just 1 plant and landed just over 3oz. there are 7 plants from seed so if it came out the same(but im expecting better results)that would be 21oz that leaves 7 very strong healthy clones that should at least pull 2oz each so there is 14. 35 total oz, im not sure thats why im asking are those predictions hopeless?

but is it possible to get 1gm per watt?

it's possible. even possible to get 1.4gpw. you would need to be a very experienced grower with the right strain and your nutes dialed in. plus you would need the proper environment and space layout. anything aroun .75+gpw and you are doing just fine.

2gpw is possible but you would probably need to go with a vertical stadium or colisseum grow to take full advantage of your bulb. the only 2gpw+ grows i have ever seen were done using these methods.

I'm assuming since you are asking this question that you don't have much growing experience. With that in mind, you've got to know that there are so many things that can affect a grow. You could have insect problems. You could have equipment malfunction, or a hundred other things. Grower error is always possible. Growing weed is like any other kind of "farming". If everything goes according to plan you could have a bumper crop, but with so many variables yield is impossible to predict accurately. If you concentrate on quality, yield will take care of itself. Good luck!

wow that last one was a very good way to put it. true do not have many grows under my belt only about 8 and only my 3rd doing hydro. i was the most curious about my clones yeild. i never rooted them before 12/12 always straight in when it was cut. this clone is 14 in tall and the leaves are so crowded with many sites im excited.tn2.jpg

If they are 15 inches when you switch the light to 12/12 you will have a small harvest.
I'm guessing 15-20 grams dried/cured per. that's optimistic.

BigSteve.

no way bigsteve i have to disagree with you on that one.. im thinking two oz each but we shall see. im a lil new but got a mean lil setup :)

I disagree with Big Steve.
I vegg my ladies to 15" to 17 " , and I harvest about 15 ozs from six ladies every harvest.

also 600 watt hps has higher lumens per watt than all others so you get more bang per watt also more points of light but its cheaper to buy one 1000 watt light than two 600's you will yield more with 3 600's than two 1,000's and use less power and a lot of growers will go hps-mh-hps for flower rooms

Well this tells me I still have lots to learn. I use 2 tents one is 2x4x6 and the other is 3x3x6 and I use 400watt mh for vegging and 400hps for flowering. I veg for 3-4 weeks usually in LST method and have yet to yield more than 70 grams dry weight finished. This from growing several different strains as well.
