Y supercrop????

ok i was having probs with my plants getting to tall and everyone told me to "supercrop" so i tried it and now all the branches have curved up towards the light. Is this wats suppose to be done? wat is the purpose of supercropping??

It'l make the plant "bushyier'and flower more from the branches it'll grow,i'd say..

im still prety new but from waht i undrestand its to let more light get to the lower branches and make the canopy all the same hight.
