your plants will be happier if you cut off the ends that are dead.(trust me) at that age you should be feeding with a soil not adding liquid nutes especielly if your just learning its to easy to burn up good plants I'v did it adding marical grow and manure. Now just expensive soil for 30 days then nutes carefully.

Agree with all the other posts, nute burn.
Most good soil has enough nutrients for about a month, then introduce them slowly at half or less their rated application, and only every other watering.
Every strain is different as well, so always start off gently with the nutes until you know what that particular plant likes.

I'm just a newbie, but a kind of advanced one. I agree with everything said so far, just wanted to add a little info.

FFOF burned all of my clones, I learned the hard way to start them off with something lighter, like Fox Farm Light Warrior for instance. Once they get a good root system going and have to be transplanted, that's when you want to put them in FFOF or something stronger like that.

Hope that helps some.

Well here's the issue.. It CANNOT be nute burn! No way! I haven't added any. The soil isn't anything special.. I should have spend a little more money on the soil.. but I am broke. I spent like 2 dollars on that soil, and got a huge ass bag of it from Home Depot. Could it be a nutrient deficiency?

well how much u been waterin it? have u been letting the soil dry a bit b4 watering again?

Yes I have. I water probably every other day or so.. I watered them yesterday around 8pm, and today at 6pm the soil was dry as a bone. Do you think they could be a little too close to the light? I mean, Its is a CFL after all..

na dont think its that cux if it is then the top leaves will prbly b the first to do that since they will b closest to the light

Makes sense.. I'll wait a day or two to see if it clears up.. Also, it seems as though the growth of the babies has slowed down.. That's why I was thinking a nutrient deficiency.

What soil are you using? This looks like nutrient burn. My plant is showing similiar symptoms and I haven't given any nutrients either.... Your soil might just have too much nutes in it.... Whats the NPK value of the soil.... it will say on the bag.... is it Miracle Gro?

then it mite jus b ur soil. u sayed ur using $2 soil frm HD. i wood go ahed and transplant into some bttr quality soil.

Same this was happening to mine and it was Mag deficiency.

I was using soil I mixed with no nutes and that same stuff started on mine around that same size as yours did.

I got Epsom salt and I use half of whatever it says to use of the package.

I should of know better having the same problem with my fish tanks.

That's just it.. Its didn't have a N-P-K rating on the bag.. And it's not MG. It's a big white bag, with nothing written on it.. Tomorrow, I will go and pick up some good quality soil, any recommendations?

the first single set of leaves are suppose to die...but you still have a problem....what soil are you using and do they contain fertilizer? how often do you water?

hey thinking green are u using that soil from Home Depot called Gardenese? if u are then u are using the rong kind of soil. gardenese is a top soil used only to add to the top layer of ur soil for outside gardens only not for potting plants. u need soil that is made specifically for pots. like i sayed b4 transplant into bttr quality soil asap
