WTF is this

ive been making oil for yrs .
After reading a few books I decided , to do a couple experiments.
I did the 1st 5 steps in Cannabis Alchemy
I used methanol, when you cook this off there is solids that form.
I removed them n put it in iso, and they still don’t wanna dissolve , it’s like glue.
That is it...?

Not sure what it is but I'm gonna throw up anyway.....geez that looks nasty...sorry....but flush please...lol.

Looks like an ocean going oil spill. Hows it smell?

Smells like the oil.
But the oil smells like 3rd wash
Because of the refluxing n soxhleting


It’s almost dissolved in the iso

This was all just an experiment

I was able to take away some knowledge n experience from it. But going back to QWISO

I told ya no one wanted to smoke it after we were done. but at least ours was oil when we were done. .
Not sure what the dark brown is its soaking in,
Try taking a small piece and running it under water and see what happens to it.. I think you'll be shocked..

3 min was with frozen IPA and frozen Herb is all that's needed to remove 80% of the meds!
Pure golden goodness ................depending on how old your herb is ...

when you heat meds..It KILLS the taste if that is what you are after.

The book talked about methanol 1st as a solvent . So I have unlimited amounts of this , figured I’d try it.

I have done more testing with methanol &
With wash times, and the methanol,
After filtering, if you cook it off parts of it forms a solid.
If you don’t cook , and let it sit there is white stuff that will settle . I’m guessing it’s a wax.

The dark brown is It starting to dissolve in iso ,
There is nothing to pick up now to run under water, it’s almost dissolved.

I just like playing n experiments
I’m going to cook it off n see, then it’s probably be going into the garbage.

After it’s all said n done , I’d rather deal with butane then Cannabis Alchemy.

This all was done in search of making gold seal hash from back in the day.

I’ve got it close enough to make me happy.
